Well, hello over 5k of you! 🥹 It’s been a minute since I’ve done an intro and this felt like a great milestone to do so! I cannot believe how this account has grown. What started out solely as a creative outlet, and a space to share how I’m updating my home on a budget, has given me back so much and a community I am so grateful for.

As a reminder to those who are new, I’m just a normal gal 🤪 no big construction crews or unlimited dollars over here (yet… let’s manifest!!)

I’ve always had a love for design— I’m a sucker for mahogany wood, vintage textiles, my great grandmas china and sterling silver collection, and always giving my opinion on home decor trends 🤪

Some fun facts about me:

🌷I adore all things greenery, plants, and flowers. I unfortunately did not inherit the green thumb from my mother though - any tips and tricks are always appreciated!
💼I’ve been in Project Management for over a decade, working at global ad/pr agencies! I love my job and am so lucky to work in such a creative space.
🌃My husband and I met in Detroit at a dive bar very serendipitously. We have been together for 11 years now!
🐾We are a DINK household, with a little kitty named Olive and a puppy named Pickles.
✨I’m a Gemini... I can talk to and make friends with basically anyone, anytime!
🫶🏼I’m fortunate enough to have 3 generations of women before me that passed down their love of interiors, furniture, design and hosting. And a lot of family heirlooms with it!
🤪This is my favorite emoji if you can’t tell…

Thanks for being here on the journey as we bring our first little house to life by restoring, updating, and decorating it one room at a time while learning together along the way.
