To the fathers carrying a weight most will never understand: I’ve been right there and walked a few miles in your shoes. I’m Scott Jackson, the founder of Eddy. I created this network because I know firsthand the silence and isolation that often follows the profound loss of a child and the ongoing journey of raising a child with a disability. I’ve lived through the trauma and I’m navigating the daily challenges alongside you right now. I’ve found that there is immense comfort and strength in our shared stories.

That is why Eddy exists.

Our voices have power, and our words could be the very thing another father needs to hear right now, to keep moving forward today.

So, this is Christmas… and what have I done? 🦖🎄
Turns out, I’ve been taming dinosaurs down Oxford Circus! 🚀

Thanks to the unbelievable generosity of YOU all, Thomas smashed his Movember goal, raising over £2,500!! 💥🙌

As a man of my word, I promised that if we hit that magic number, I’d run down Oxford Street in a dino costume AND visit the top donor’s office. What better time than the Friday before Christmas to spread some Dino-cheer? 🦕✨

Huge thanks to everyone who donated to Thomas’ Movember page—especially the anonymous heroes (who even I don’t know who you are?!). Every donation made this a November to remember, and the support we felt as Thomas’ Mo took on a life of its own was unforgettable.

Despite a tough end with a 4-night hospital stay, this Movember journey was filled with lots of love, laughter, and your amazing support!!
