MY CURIOSITY BROUGHT MY VISION TO LIFE.

Two months of planning for Timekeepers’ Circle: 2 Crafts, 1 Canvas. 🐼🖌️🎋

@nilsson_in_th proposed the idea to me and I said, let’s do it — without hesitation. Thank you for putting the idea on the table and giving me the space to bring it to life. We brought visual artist and dial painter @drstudio.watches and @fayywatches from Bangkok to Kuala Lumpur to showcase their craft and share what Métiers d’Art is really about.
And I pushed myself to do something I’d never done before — moderate a panel discussion. I wanted it to be serious, informative and engaging, but never boring. It was challenging, but honestly, so much fun to plan something different and really make it my own.

Not gonna lie, I was born with a strong curiosity. I’m always crazy for stories, and I genuinely love telling the stories behind the artists and their craft.

It was one of my most fulfilling working weekends. I’m so grateful that Ian and David surprised me by painting a little Bee on his 1950s vintage Rolex during the event. 🥹🐝

And nothing was cooler than bringing my dad along to work with me and having a room full of watch lovers come together.

Thank you to my team for the beautiful setup and all the support behind the scenes. Special thank you @richleen for guiding me through it all and helping me see things from a different perspective. 💕

The last time I threw a party was back in 2020 — one of KL’s first Y2K-themed parties called @offdaymotel .

And here I am again, still wildly passionate about what I do — this time throwing the first-ever techno party in a heritage Chinese food court @lot10hutong , with @obscrobscr & @connorsmalaysia . From the very first moodboard to the lighting setup, it turned out exactly how I pictured it. I was hands-on with everything (I’m not proud 🤨) — sticker design , posters, backdrop — just like I was for the Y2K party. Still learning how to not micromanage every detail 🫣😩

The Hutong rave was just 2.5 hours — 5 DJs, short, sweet, and steamy as hell. Thank you to everyone who came and danced your hearts out with me on the Wong Wok dance floor.

Partying and working? I might just be the luckiest girl in the world. 🫶
 Shoutout to @sepfresco for riding this out with me and surviving all my bossy deadlines 🥴💖

Whatever the fuck is going on in your life, go to the beach. 🌊🐠🐚🏝️

Came here to heal myself and get some deep sleep. Honestly, idk what a healed soul looks like. But I know I’ve touched some damn sand, eaten Pad Thai, and petted many, many island cats and dogs. 🐈🐕

Things I did and loved in Koh Tao:
1. 🤿 Snorkelling tour with @oxygentours — @clotus523 was the best tour guide! Classy, caring, and great at taking photos for everyone on the boat.
2. 🧘🏻‍♀️ Power Vinyasa at @livingjuices — with Maddy. Only 200 baht per class. Great value!
3. 🏝️ Half-day trip to Nang Yuan Island — 250 baht entrance fee.
4. 🍕 Pad Kra Pao Pizza at @thefrenchmarketkohtao — not bad.
5. 🍜 Family Kitchen, Sairee Beach — delicious Thai food and cheap.
6. 🍔 @cactuscafekohtao — acai bowls, burgers, and THE best food-and-view combo!
7. 🧘🏻‍♀️ Ashtanga Yoga at @blue_chitta — book through ClassPass.
8. ☕️ Free morning coffee — if you’re staying at The Hidden Gem Poshtel.
9. 🍓 Frozen strawberry daiquiri at @bluewater.kohtao — so good and chill vibes taken in Koh Tao Island by @thissssbee

The Two Crafts, One Canvas event was a truly memorable afternoon. I helped create this Timekeepers Circle gathering, and I am honored to have proposed David from @drstudio.watches alongside Alan and Ian from @fayywatches , and to work together with @thissssbee to bring this concept to life.

Métiers d’Art holds a vital place in the watch world, transforming horology into a canvas for craftsmanship, artistic expression, and personal storytelling. The ability to share this delicate craft so closely with collectors is what makes this community so significant. It was a privilege to watch David share the process behind his hand-painted dials, and listening to Alan and Ian detail their journey of integrating traditional heritage into contemporary watchmaking was equally inspiring. It was also a genuine pleasure to listen to Bee and her engaging panel discussion with both brands. She guided an insightful conversation that connected the artists directly with collectors, exploring the finer details of creative expression and the personal stories that live within each timepiece.

Bee did a fantastic job curating and moderating an event defined by passion, knowledge, and fun. I also want to extend a sincere thank you to @thestarhillkl and the team for providing such an exceptional venue and their outstanding support 🙏🏻 taken in Starhill by @thissssbee

Meet the giant humans of MASS by Ron Mueck at @moriartmuseum — strange perspectives, good art, and a little Roppongi wandering.

My favourites: Chicken/Man, and the overwhelmingly sad lady In Bed (6.5m long × 4m wide).

Then we wander over to Mori Garden and call it a date.
