Where words do not suffice, sounds reform themselves.

In Lieder ohne Worte, a smoking car wreck becomes the starting point for a strange musical landscape. Five sound and illusion experts meticulously reconstruct the crash, shard by shard and sound by sound, while an electric chamber music trio expands Mendelssohn’s Songs Without Words into unexpected noises and reverberations.

Between destruction and reconstruction, shock and speechlessness, @thom_luz creates a music theatre piece about what remains after the crash and what can emerge from it.

‹Don Quijote› - ab 14.5. 🐎
Ein phantastischer Ritt durch die Musikgeschichte
Mit dem Kammerorchester Basel:
Hü Hott! Auf einem klapprigen Pferd ziehen Don Quijote und sein Knappe Sancho Panza durch die Ebenen von La Mancha. Klapprig?
