OK y’all, it’s finally time…

This is probably one of the hardest things I’ve ever done, but after almost two years of stringing this project together, my second album RECONSTRUCTION is coming out on MAY 3rd, available for pre-save and pre-order starting APRIL 19th!!!

Etheridge, the supposed rebel leader of the foretold Demolition Crew, has a messy and tragic story to tell. I can’t wait for you to finally hear it!

Also, new single “Making Sense” out APRIL 19, same day as the pre-order starts.

THE UNICORN AND THE MAIDEN ✝️🦄

Dear Father Xavier,

You unfortunate soul. You were given a rare opportunity: to love, to protect, to guide and serve in the name of God. He gave you a scared power, the power of authority, the rare gift to speak the truth, and reverberate through the hearts and minds of the strong, young women you were blessed with.

But you betrayed that power, and used it for your own gratification … unapologetically. And just as God granted your life, and the aforementioned power with it, He just as readily took it away. You never got the chance to see beyond the stars in your eyes. I always wondered if you had the ability to.

But that is why you have me, Xavier. I am here as a way to take your sin, bear witness to its damage, learn from your mistakes, and help forge a more prosperous world in spite of you. A world that is kind to these women; a world that lets them transcend their oppressive patriarch, choose their own path, and fill the atmosphere with their curious, gentle and passionate spirits; a world that takes the power you abused and ensures that those women absorb it for their own prosperity and peace.

Rest in peace, Father Xavier, as I cleanse your soul through my life, while your body burns in hell.

MURDER IN RAVENSWOOD BLUFF 🐦‍⬛🩸

@purelytopaz , these six would-be killers (and their extravagant victim) are the incarnations of your ambition, your passion, and your genius mind. I have never felt more fulfilled than to bring John Smith, “The Blacksmith” to life.

He’s a widower, who lost his wife, Elizabeth, to circumstances he couldn’t control. He’s a father, who is doing all that he can to protect his only son, Mortimer, from the dangers he faces. He’s a debtor, who despite giving and loving to the fullest, he was beaten and cast down. He’s a gambler, who’s used to playing with fire, but keeps getting away by the skin of his teeth. He’s an addict, with no one to understand him, no one to confide in. But he felt the alcohol cleansed him, and the adultery fulfilled him. He’s a soldier, who’s seen civilization at its worst, and still believed in it. He’s an apostate, who questions why, in a world full of good, why does evil exist? And most of all, he’s a blacksmith, who forges weapon and armor for a living. He meets a new person every day, and can tell you everything about them by the way they hold a blade. He abandoned his wealth, his power and his king to live a humble life in Ravenswood Bluff, get married, raise a family … but thanks to the torment of fate, he never go the chance to pursue a full life. He was damned to live a transactional one.

But despite being betrayed by everyone he loves, despite holding no cards, and despite being both a perpetrator and a victim of a cruel world … he never lost his capacity to care for others, even if he knows it hurts them. He never lost his capacity to love, to fight for what’s right, to guide others to greatness. But most importantly, he never lost his clarity of thought when the black smoke rose around him.

And he could never bring it upon himself to murder the man who ruined his life. John Smith was the only townsperson who had a clean slate across four shows and the dress rehearsal; he was executed twice. I like to think he joined Elizabeth on the other side. I hope he finds the peace with his first and true love until the end of time…

An acting exercise for NYU. Directed by Josh Li, and starring Thomas Jaquess and John Tabaniag. Filmed at the super new and super cool Martin Scorsese Center at Industry City.

Was such a cool/fun experience filming something in a 3 camera studio set up. I'd imagine that's how it is to film a sitcom! taken in Brooklyn, New York by @thomas.jaquess
