Alex Kemp, the thing I think I’ll miss most is your smile. That devilish, handsome smile never failed to crack one out of me to. There was always something special about it. You were always so bright and warm, and your presence just always filled the room with happiness and joy. Just the sound of your laughter could change the mood of the atmosphere in an instant. Your unique personality could never be replaced and was always a staple part of the CBA XC team. I always looked up to you and admired your work ethic, attitude, spirit, and most importantly your kindness. Some people say perfection isn’t attainable, and while that may be true, you were pretty damn close to perfect as they come. You had so much more to give this world. You were intelligent, caring, charitable, talented, and so much more. You had hopes and dreams both fulfilled and unfulfilled. I remember the last run we went on together, thinking I would see you again soon after. What I wouldn’t give to just spend another minute with you. I know we weren’t the closest of friends, but I hope you left this world knowing how much you have impacted my life and the everlasting love I hold for you.
