A tidbit of our story. This pregnancy was a total surprise, and comes after nearly seven years of infertility and a round of IVF to have Townes. We were told it would never happen without medical intervention, so needless to say we are shocked, grateful, and in total awe of His glory.

I’ve definitely put a lot of pressure on myself to write this post and put it off for a month or so because I didn’t know how to be personal over a platform where scrolling quickly past things that matter happens often.

To those that know me personally, you know that all I’ve ever wanted to do was get in a van and tour as much as I can. I did that. I got to do that a lot. The amount of cool stuff I’ve been part of over the last 11 years with Silent Planet has been everything I’ve ever wanted to do.
“Thankful” doesn’t even begin to describe the feelings I have for the opportunities I was given.
I got to be a part of living and breathing art. I helped create something that others care about. I was part of something I believed in. And I still believe in this group of guys. I’ve been through real life with those dudes and they will always be my brothers.
I’m assuming you know what’s coming with the content of this post, but before I go there, I want to explain where I’ve found the most happiness in my life.
As I was chasing my dreams with Planet, I was an also starting a family.
When I married my wife - that was the happiest day of our lives. And as you can expect, touring brought challenges and hardships especially once we decided to grow our family. I would be gone 6-8 months out of the year which lasted a few solid years. But we adapted and learned how to be partners even if I was literally across the world.
Then our son was born. Townes Freckleton.
Now, THIS is the happiest we have ever been.
I’ve realized through all the heartache and trials we had to endure as a couple to get our son here: THIS is everything that is worth anything to me.
Before I wrote this I was thinking to myself how grateful and how rad it is to be at home right now. With my son. With my wife.

That was never a thought before. I was always 100mph with Planet from day one.
Things have changed. My priorities have shifted, and I’ve found happiness outside of myself.

Being a dad rocks! Being a parent with the best of the best is my greatest reward. Absolutely amazing. Bailey and I vowed to never take an infant to Disneyland and promised that he would have to be able to walk to enter. We gave in. Lol we didn’t even last a year. I will say I’m so glad we did. The memories and photos we will get to share with him means so much more than waiting. I had the best two days with the fam. Special thanks to auntie ti ti. She was the one that made this all happen. I will end with my greatest accomplishment so far, and that is my son meeting a storm trooper. Goals ✅ by @thomasfrecks

If you have been out to the first couple of shows, you may be have noticed that I’m not there. So I’m posting this for a few reasons. As some may know, Bailey and I have a sweet baby now, and with that, I’ll be taking this tour and the next tour off. But lucky for you, we have our good friend @nick_isos from @insearchofsolacemn filling in for me.
I need two things:
1) I need y’all to go to these shows, and go give Nick a high-five
2) Also go follow Nick’s band (maybe bring him a coffee too, if you’re feeling wild).
It’s definitely sad to miss a tour for the first time since 2012, but Bay and I are holding it down at the Freckleton household. I’ll be back very soon.
Love all of you that come to watch our band, stream our music, buy our merch, chat with us after shows, and eat meals together at 1am. You have kept us alive for the last decade. Thank you so so much. Go check out a show and catch some new jams. xoxo by @thomasfrecks

The Freckleton’s are home! Safe, healthy, and happy. I would love for you to meet the newest addition, Sir Townes Hugh Freckleton. Born a true rocker. He shall rip gigs as the fifth member of @silentplanetband and will be a future owner of @bakersfieldsoundco. He is absolutely the most precious person I’ve ever had the chance to meet. Every expression and noise this little dude has to give us has filled @baileyfrecks and I will the most joy. Bailey had to go through a very tough time for our son to arrive safely and she did everything a mother would to protect her child. Woman really do run the world as Beyoncé would say. I’m already the proudest dad and just am so thankful we are all home together as a family. Just look at this dude. Oh… and he’s huge. Big o baby! Wouldn’t have had it any other way. by @thomasfrecks

Hot mama alert 🚨🚨🚨
The year leading up to this moment has been very very difficult to navigate but so worth it. I’m so proud of this woman. She is already the strongest mama I know and will continue to be an official boy mom in the next few weeks. He will be here in no time. Thank you to anyone that has lent nice words or encouragement to her throughout our IVF journey. I still can’t believe it’s real! I love you more now than ever @baileyfrecks. 2022 is going to be the most important year of our lives!
I can’t believe we get to announce something so important to us. Through the struggles, headaches, worries, and everything that comes with IVF, we are happy to announce that Bailey and I are having a baby!!! IT’S A BOY!!!!!!!
To the people that came through to help this be a possibility, truly, I have no other words than thank you.
This has been something Bailey and I have been trying for years and for it to be a reality is just the best thing that has ever happened to us.
I’m so excited to be a dad, so pumped to have the raddest wife, and just in complete bliss that this is our reality.

Going through IVF has been quite the ride and I have the utmost respect for any spouse or loved one that has to poke their partner with a needle for 3 months in hopes to maybe have a success.
We implanted two embryos and at 8 weeks found out that one took and we lost the other.
Beyond that being very hard for us, we have realized that our prayers have been answered and truly wouldn’t want it any other way.

At this very moment, 10 years ago, I walked into a Starbucks where miss Bailey worked and embarrassed her in front of her peers (I didn’t say I was coming in and she gets embarrassed very easily).
From that day forward, every moment, every event, every second together has led us here.
I like here.

Our little rocker will be here early July!
I’m not sorry at all for the long post.
I’m so excited to share this with you.
Baby Frecks will rule the earth.

So many people that I love dearly have been apart of this process and we have been eagerly waiting to show you some of the most personal songs we have written as a band.
