The world is becoming increasingly uniform. We use the same algorithms, follow the same patterns, consume the same ideas—and eventually even let machines do the thinking for us. “Uniformity” by Thomas Helmich is a melodic techno statement about that creeping loss of individuality.
The track deliberately plays with this contradiction: a controlled electronic framework disrupted by a wild, experimental female vocal that refuses to behave. Strange, unpredictable and sometimes almost unsettling, the voice becomes the human element fighting against the machine-made order. “Uniformity” isn’t about fitting in. It’s about questioning how much of ourselves we’re willing to give away.

Some words are meant to explain. Others are designed to conceal.
Acronym exists somewhere between both.
Thomas Helmich assembles fragments of melodic techno, progressive architecture, French-touch elegance, and machine-driven groove into a coded transmission from a parallel dancefloor. Pulses collide with drifting harmonics. Rhythms mutate. Familiar structures dissolve and reappear in unexpected forms.
Every element feels intentional, yet impossible to predict. A sequence of signals. A language without translation. A message hidden in motion.
Neither peak-time weapon nor introspective soundtrack, Acronym operates in its own frequency range—where precision meets chaos and emotion emerges from circuitry.
Decode it if you can.
Dance to it if you can’t.

Thomas Helmich returns to his own imprint, luft&liebe, after the release of BRAVADO on Boris Brejcha’s label, Yellow Kitchen, with his new creation RED FLAG, which follows the path he chose with his predecessor single.
At the centre melodic techno is paired with a fluent mix of progressive and French house elements, the track showcases his ability to blend these genres seamlessly while adding Thomas Helmich`s own signature musicality and his sonic image.

A little bit of glitch never hurt anyone… right?
Just experimenting with some glitchy ideas for Bite Me and seeing what sticks.
Nothing polished here, just part of the process.
