After recharging powers from the last event, we will take over @arkaodaberlin on 06.06. with a lineup exploring our softer, housier and deeper side right in time for the beginning of summer in the city.

We start with a photo exhibition with works by

Coming from Amsterdam starting as a runner in De school, Thomas was exposed early on to the right sound, moving to Berlin only made it more fine tuned, playing mainly records, spending hours and hours in store and on Discogs,

This was the opening for a event, so started soft played some soft breaks and electronica slowly building up once the room filled itself to some 4x4 dubs by @thomashoing

So we released the recording of @thomashoing set from our first party, it was truly the icing on the cake that night

Every record was laid down with precision, like he knew exactly what the dancefloor needed in each moment. It was a journey, a story, and you could feel it in the room.

Thomas brings a depth of experience to his craft. From his early days as a runner at De School to becoming a core part of OXI and Tresor, he’s what you’d call a true club rat, and it shows in his sets.

Countless hours spent on both sides of the booth have given him a unique instinct for sound and timing. It’s something hard to put into words… but isn’t that the point of music.

Thomas Hoing Born in Amsterdam but based in Berlin Thomas began in nightlife with his work as a runner at De School. During the pandemic he moved to berlin and started working at Tresor and OXI Club. Now working mainly as a nightmanager at OXI, nightlife and working there is a part of Thomas his identity that also shapes the way he sees music. He saw many nights, good and bad ones, good and bad music, full and empty rooms. He realized that you need a certain adaptability to serve guests and not just yourself. taken in OXI by @thomashoing
