One of my favourite shoots, where every frame felt like a story unfolding in motion.

I built my entire business on maternity leave, with absolutely no idea what I was doing.

So yes, I can figure things out.

And I’m going to keep saying yes. by @thomasinabosch

not living a full life because you’re too afraid to find out what you’re capable of. taken in Calgary, Canada by @thomasinabosch

I started my business during my first maternity leave. And when I had my second daughter, I knew I wanted to keep going.

I went back to work at 10 weeks postpartum. I felt very uncomfortable in my body, I was sleep deprived, but so motivated. I structured wedding days around pumping and roadside feeds. It was chaotic, but we made it work.

I don’t think I realized how much that season would shape me.

A lot of reflection and therapy lately has taught me I don’t need less ambition. I need better boundaries with myself and to be more intentional with where my energy goes.

I think there will always be a little chaos mixed in with growth.

And slowly, I’m learning how to hold both.

Balancing it all isn’t always easy, but this summer has been full of little reminders of why I work as hard as I do.

Chasing big dreams, creating more freedom + flexibility, and hopefully showing my girls what’s possible along the way.

Here’s to more mountains in 2027. taken in Alberta, Canada by @thomasinabosch
