1 year + tax in Canada 🇨🇦 Been a bloody good time and still going. To all the friends I said “see you in a year”.. I lied. Soz ghee, gonna be a little longer by @thomaskerr1
I’ve got a heap of photos while in Whistler and I’ll get to them eventually. (I’m having a great time by the way) But this one’s pretty cool, started playing rugby at 30. Last game of the year scored my first ever try, felt so good I did it twice. 2 tries, 62-7 win and got axeman of the day. Big ups the @axemenrugbyclub Now back to snowboarding. #axemanrugby #uptheaxemen #rugby #whistler #squamish #bigkerr94 by @thomaskerr1
Canada - The Comox Valley part A shout out to the Canada family! After my snowboard trip around the mountains I was meant to stay on Vancouver island with Bullfrog and the whānau for a couple weeks, quickly the plans changed and I was told the next part of my trip had been pushed back till June. Thankfully the Nikkels were happy to take a lost kiwi in for a little longer than expected. The time spent on the island was fantastic, I brought a broken down Ford Escape and fixed it, became a manager of a women’s rugby team aka the backbone, played in a football team, played touch rugby, skated, saw the sites, watched more warriors games than ever before, meet some great people that welcomed me with open arms and became a Canadian plumber, not bad for 8 weeks! As for now, I’ve made it to Whistler in that broken down Ford, set up in staff housing and ready to start this adventure, Let’s goo sum’ahh 🤙🏼🤙🏼 by @thomaskerr1
