A DNF is always better than a DNS. Lessons learned from the cheap 100. It was honestly scarier to make this video then to try running 100 mi loop around Missoula with 20,000 ft of gain. The temptation when you feel like you failed is to hide. If you fail publicly it's even greater but every lesson I've ever learned has been from something that didn't go right. The cheap 100 Missoula round. Attempt number one of 100 mi loop around Missoula using only gear from Walmart. We are 8 hours in and through the most difficult section of the rattlesnake traverse we are 1/3 done with the elevation gain, almost 7,000 ft done and we are approaching a quarter of the way down on mileage taken in Montana by @thomasleviattard
