🔊 After a 2 hour intense workout, I decided to do some light cool down sets on bench @ 365lbs by 12 reps. On my 6 rep, the unimaginable happened. In complete utter shock, I laid there as I knew by visibly watching my Pec explode and what sounded like 1000 rubber bands snapping at once, that it wasn’t good.

Upon getting an MRI, it was deemed that I had not only completely ruptured my Pec, but also my Bicep, rotator, and Slap muscle had torn.
The first few doctors I spoke with could only describe the severity as saying “it looked like a bomb went off” and that “my lifting days were over.”

Luckily, thanks to the guidance from a lifelong friend, Doctor @grantcarey92 , I was able to get hooked up with an amazing surgeon, @robert_pettit_md and team at Beacon Orthopedic.

Now, just 9 months later, I am back and beating all odds. This is proof that willpower will defeat any obstacle it faces and nothing is unrealistic if you believe you can do it. taken in Cincinati Ohio by @thomasmeyer_24
