Exploring Trabzon a little bit.

I was the happiest guy in the happiest city after that breakfast.

But now I’ve had enough food for the next few days 😂

I think we showed a really important performance. The boys were aggressive and in control for large parts of the game.

But if I’m honest, it was about more than just the result.

It’s about you. Our fans. How you came out, filled this stadium and carried us through. That meant a lot to all of us.

Now: a short rest. Then straight back to work.

Bence gerçekten önemli bir performans sergiledik. Oyuncularımız agresifti ve maçın büyük bir bölümünde kontrolü ellerinde tuttular.

Ama dürüst olmak gerekirse, konu maçın sonucundan daha ötesiydi.

Konu sizlersiniz. Taraftarlarımız. Stadyumu doldurup bizi desteklemeniz. Bu, hepimiz için çok anlamlıydı.

We were fully focused from the very first whistle. We deservedly took the lead and had the game completely under control.

Efficiency has been a bit of an issue for us before.

We conceded a goal we didn’t need to concede, and made life unnecessarily difficult for ourselves in the closing minutes.

Still, the way the boys pressed and the way they showed up yesterday was good. by @thomasreis22

A deserved win in the end - but far from a complete performance.

We gave up that goal way too easily and started to struggle.

The players who came on stepped in seamlessly and pulled the game back our way.

After two draws, this is an important win.

But I have to be honest: I’m satisfied with the result, not with large parts of the performance. If we want to get closer to our goal, we have to become more stable. by @thomasreis22

Frustrating to drop points again.

We created more than enough chances to win the game, but we simply didn’t take them. If you want to compete for the title, you have to be more effective.

Overall, it was a solid performance, but our expectation was to win this game.

We know where we have to improve.

And a big thank you to everyone who travelled with us and supported us away from home. That’s never something we take for granted. by @thomasreis22

The first 20 minutes were not good enough and we made life difficult for ourselves.

But after the red card, the team showed a great reaction. Despite being one player down for almost 80 minutes, we kept pushing, created the better chances and deserved the equaliser. by @thomasreis22

A very good performance from the first minute to the last.

We were aggressive, our pressing worked well and the team showed many of the things we have been working on over the last days and weeks..

Most importantly, we managed to keep that intensity for almost the full 90 minutes.

We scored really good goals and probably could have decided the game a little earlier. But overall, a deserved win and another step in the right direction. by @thomasreis22

We didn’t play the first half the way we wanted to and deservedly went behind. After the break, the reaction was much better. We were more aggressive and created some very good chances.

But we also have to be honest: the last 20 minutes were not good enough. Instead of controlling the game, we made too many unnecessary mistakes and gave our opponent the chance to come back.

Three points, but still plenty to improve. by @thomasreis22

We played one of our best first halves since I arrived. We were aggressive from the first minute, controlled the game and should have scored more before the break.

The second half was a completely different story. We stopped doing the things that made us strong, gave our opponent too much momentum and made life difficult for ourselves.

In the end, the team fought until the final whistle and defended the lead with one man less.

A win is a win. But we know we have to perform like we did in the first half for the full 90 minutes. by @thomasreis22

Disappointed with the result, but not with everything we showed.

The first half wasn’t good enough. After the break, we reacted well, showed the right mentality and were close to turning the game around.

In the end, we were punished again for mistakes that are avoidable.

Now we have to take the positives from the second half, reduce those mistakes and keep moving forward.

Full focus on the league and the cup. by @thomasreis22
