Timestamps AU / FJ / NZ

1 - Some quiet time @sheratonfijiresort . first holiday i’ve actually enjoyed doing (aaaaaalmost) nothing. Sorry it took so long babe

2 - Day 1 of a 2 day shoot with the Steedman whānau. beautiful people, beautiful moments, worst fcking weather.

3 - Get off the plane from the GC, uber from Syd airport to Penrith, 3 hours of filming + 1 hour of Mcdonald’s and then straight back to the airport & on the plane back to Auckland. met @bojiewang and @jamiespov who killed it. If you’re in Sydney and need something filmed, they are the ones!

4- Day 2 with the Steedman’s and their extended family. Full day of filming, months of planning - for a content piece that got scrapped. hey, it goes like that sometimes, at least the food & company was good!

5 - Early morning flight with my colleague @makairalee 10/10 chance her phone was on 2% battery at this point. by @thomasrose__

Miscarriage, Ectopic Pregnancy.. I hope you never have to learn what these words mean - and if you do, I pray you don’t have to learn the hard way. A hard and turbulent journey that would’ve been impossible to get through without all our friends and family ❤️ the rainbow tomorrow, will have made all of today’s rain worth it @jamie_armitage by @thomasrose__

The hardest lessons, all learned the hard way 🥊 hopefully this inspires you to go and fight for something you believe in, even if it’s just yourself by @thomasrose__

Timestamps in Japan.

1 - we had like 5 hours free time, roaming the streets of Osaka, hunting down vending machines, 7/11 egg sandwiches and calpis

2 - quick walk in Kobe. Apparently jay walking is not encouraged (someone fact check me?) so a 500m walk took me 30 minutes

3 - went to the legendary @lnl_amemura where the boys played DJ Noize till about 2am, well that’s when we left - they could actually still be there right now

4 - fashion. amazing pieces in amemura but nothing XXL or above. Remind me to get to 8% body fat before I go next time. Seriously.

5 - Toyota Stadium Kobeco Steelers vs Veblitz. The Japanese are such passionate and somehow still respectable sports fans. Home teams graciously let the away teams do their chants, players bow to the field when they’re subbed off, merch sells out in minutes! Someone told me there’s a loneliness epidemic in Japan so sports teams acts as place to connect and to belong

6 - late night looking at Lawson wishing it was a 7/11. Did I talk about the egg sandwich yet or nah? taken in Osaka, Japan by @thomasrose__

Struggling IS a strong word, but also maybe it’s not?… I’ve struggled a million times AND I’ve succeeded a million more times. and EVERY.SINGLE.TIME I find either of them, I know the other one is never too far behind. I’d be lying and performing if I only ever shared the interesting things I find in my outside world, especially when there’s so many interesting (challenging, expanding, scary) things happening in my inside world x by @thomasrose__
