Workin’ Hands

The album is out.

Words cannot express how I feel, but I’ll try anyways. This is my championship. I took a long break from music to work on myself as a man. In the last 5 years specifically, I had to work on me. I’ve been doing hospitality work in that time and found a new love in that field. Honestly, I didn’t think I’d return back to releasing work because damn.. what else can I say? My last album, ‘156 Murray Hill Plaza’ I was perfectly content with not releasing anymore as it marked my life until that point. But in working and finding a community for me, I found that there is still more I can squeeze out creatively. I missed it. I longed for it. Life experiences destroyed and rebuilt me. I wouldn’t live it any other way. I always will be a tinkerer and strive to be the best I can be. My hopes lie in inspiring my peers and every stranger I will one day meet. I hope we can laugh together, and cry together. In this life and the next, working hands will always be working. Working towards greater living.

Special thanks to Hands: (@real._hands)

Without you brother, I don’t think I would’ve returned to music. Truly. We gotta meet up and perform this work for our worlds in NYC to Sweden. Thank you for your belief in my work and for putting so much faith in this project. This is just the beginning.

Special thanks to Dig Ferreira (@digferreira)

Thank you for shaping the visual identity of this project. I was racking my brain over finding the visual for this music. You perfectly blended our Brazilian heritage in these pieces you crafted. The colors are the working hands of our people. Amazing work and it always gives me chills hearing you explain it.

Extra-hands shoutout to: @killjobe @thomassavion & @bobbynobleraps for your work on the ‘Snap’ video. Your contribution is appreciated and necessary for this album truly. Thank you guys for your effort and the great job you did on short notice/planning. 🙏🏽
@fxcus.jpeg for the incredible shoot, and one of the last in your queens location. Thank you for the extra pictures brother. Hope to do more work with you 📸
