Ma rencontre avec Samuel Lambert, en novembre dernier, a fait naître une idée devenue aujourd’hui un film. Poser un regard sur l’atelier de @lambertetfils les gestes, les itérations, la matière en transformation et les visages.

Un projet de réalisation dans lequel je me suis lancé par instinct, guidé par un attachement profond pour le design et l’artisanat. Ici, le 16mm s’est imposé comme une manière juste de retranscrire les détails et le temps.

Snapshots from the Pacific Coast.

Four and a half months have passed since i left Montréal and hit the road. Since then, we’ve crossed Canada and explored Montana, Wyoming, Washington, Oregon, and California.

Thousands of miles, countless landscapes, and so many memories along the way. Now, a new chapter begins as we make our way into the deserts of Utah. taken in Pacific Northwest by @thomastessier_

In making this project, i wanted to show the gestures, the trials, the intuition that are. Part of a craft process.

Long before the finished object. When lines on paper, dust, and glances, along with months of work, come together to give Life to a design piece.

That time of year.
The coffee was questionable,
the sausages, (too) rustic,
the beans seemed to come from a can…
but the maple folklore, very much alive.

Ce époque de l’année.
Le café était discutable,
les saucisses, (trop) rustiques,
les haricots semblaient sortir d’une boîte…
