Oh my God, I love actors. Love love love actors. And hearing ones I love speak the words I’ve written? Bliss. Thank you Sherry, Gabe, Lindsay, Janie, Jake, Luke, Carolyn, Chris and Kyle. Thank you to @gershagency for all the support, including using the conference room to do a read through of my new script based on @devondanielsauthor delightful THE ROM CON. by @thomharp

During the pandemic, I was lucky enough to work with @rainnwilson on his bonkers scripted podcast @terrycarnation We recorded over zoom, and Rainn called all his A-list friends to record small parts. When Rainn said that Sam Neill was interested, all of the writers freaked out, especially when it was decided that Sam would play "himself" in an "inner circle" video inspired by the Celebrity Center of Scientology. Mark Loughlin got the script and knocked it out of the park, and ALL of us were on THAT zoom, listening to him talk about his pigs, his wine and then that dulcet toned voice saying the most ridiculous stuff imaginable. He was generous, funny, and eager to do a great job - on a goofy podcast, even after his illustrious career. RIP. Go listen to DARK AIR WITH TERRY CARNATION episode 11: Church of the Paradox wherever you get podcasts to hear the insanity (and Mr. Joshua is played by @desminborges !!). #samneill by @thomharp

None of these cast appreciation posts would exist without Casting Director Lisa Zagoria, CSA. Who suggested Joey Pants? Jimmi Simpson? Tracie Thoms? Peter MacNicol? Lisa. I had loved all of their work, but it was Lisa who helped me create a family that felt lived in and looked related (seriously, Peter MacNicol -Melanie Field and Lesley Anne Warren-Lindsay Sloane? Perfect matches). So grateful to producers Lundi Shackleton and Philippe Palacios for introducing me, because without her, we don’t have the magical chemistry that you can see for yourself in HOME DELIVERY, streaming on @tubi and renting on @appletv and @primevideo

Honestly, the kindest actor I’ve ever worked with, and most humble is hands down Peter MacNicol. Comedy requires a special kind of intelligence in performance. You have to know where the joke is but you have to play it like you don’t know. That’s a rare skill and the reason why so many of the funniest moments in HOME DELIVERY involve Peter is because he has that nimble touch. Catch him as Howard in HOME DELIVERY now streaming on @tubi and renting on @appletv and @primevideo

This is a throwback to 2023 when @anthonyjkraus helped me pull together an absolutely phenomenal cast to do a read through of my supernatural thriller which is now called TEN OF SWORDS but back then was called HELL TO PAY. Part coming of age (doomed) romance, part bank robbery that goes terribly wrong, the twist is that this sleepy seaside town is run by witches.

I absolutely adore this cast, some I worked with, others who I’d been dying to work with, and all of whom I’d love to work with ASAP. Thanks as always to @gershagency for the support (and conference room). @megdonnelly taken in Gersh Agency by @thomharp

I love that The Devil Wears Prada 2 made sure to include Tracie Thoms as Anne Hathaway’s ride or die, because Tracie is that kind of person in life. The one who brings the house down and can lift you up. In HOME DELIVERY, I needed her to be the adult in the room, and her performance was so commanding, we built our trailer around it. You can catch her as Sara in HOME DELIVERY streaming on @tubi or renting on @appletv and @primevideo Can’t wait to work with her again!

Dorkiest parents ever on an adventure to Pasadena’s grand opening of Olive Young (no pics but we were in line for 1 hour to get in), finished off by Matcha and Hojiecha Parfaits at @nanasgreentea_usa

Verdict: Olive Young - A+ customer service and wall to wall ads with Asian faces which is refreshing
Nana’s Green Tea - A++ parfaits (long wait, but worth it)
Time with our daughter - A+++++++++++++++++++ (you get the idea) by @thomharp

Joe Pantoliano playing the moral center of a movie? I was as surprised as you are, but he wanted to play the good dad. And boy did he win everyone over both on and off camera. Check out the sweeter, softer side of Joey Pants in HOME DELIVERY, streaming on @tubi and renting on @appletv and @primevideo
