On Tuesday 15 September at 10am, we’ll serve our first coffee at Candleriggs.

185 years on, we’re back in the heart of Glasgow city centre. Coffee and pastries to start, with evening drinks and more to follow as we settle into the space.

We can’t wait to welcome you in.

Opening day:
10am – 4.30pm

Then:
Tue – Fri 7.30am – 4.30pm
Sat – Sun 9am – 4.30pm

On Wednesday 2nd September, @thomsonscoffee are taking over 640 East.

8AM–5PM — all Thomson’s coffee drinks £1*
6PM onwards — coffee cupping, because apparently drinking coffee normally wasn’t enough.

Come caffeinate. Come taste. Come pretend you can identify “notes of apricot and sandalwood.”

At the beginning of June, Klaudia of @shortlongblackcoffee selected our Honduran Geisha to compete with at her first performance in the UK Barista Championship. SLB are very good friends of ours, and a longstanding wholesale customer — we’re immensely proud of Klaudia’s routine, and we look forward to what she brings next year!

As we mark 185 years of Thomson’s Coffee, our Candleriggs shop brings us back to the heart of Glasgow city centre.

Building on what you know and love at our Gallowgate and Giffnock shops, it’s a space that starts with exceptional coffee, then shifts into your new favourite spot for drinks.
