My boys inspire me!! Logan and I ran the @merchantstreetartgallery Run for Autism 5k on Father's Day, always a great time for a great cause! Jackson opted out, as he is still recovering from a recent surgery, but he cheered us on at multiple points! taken in Cobb Park by @thomvsbridges

Consistency is key! I was blessed with an 8 lb 2 oz 3 fish limit for 8th place in the 2nd BFL of the year for our division! Bumped me up to 6th place in Angler of the Year points, season is off to a solid start! Shout out to my awesome boater Brent Schroeder, we gave it our all and fished to the last minute and I caught my 3rd and largest keeper at 1:37, our check-in time was 1:45. Great Lakes BFL Opener was COLD (32° at blast off, wind up to 35), but this 3-9 Smallmouth stoked me just before noon! Rough morning, but my boater had some wisdom, we headed for new water, I asked to fish a point on the way and got this Smallie. Shortly after I finished my limit with Largemouth and started culling. Ripping aTrap in grass worked for me, and crankbaits were key for many anglers. Congratulations to all the guys that caught 'em in such brutal weather! The river always provides, I was grateful for my experience and my boater Lucas Nollar. Solid top 20 finish, and yes I'm the first one to not get a check 😆.
