@alexandre.martin.watches was the name on everyone’s lips at Geneva Watch Days, and the 1965 is why.

The Belgian-born watchmaker passed through Greubel Forsey and Petermann Bédat before building this single prototype himself, preferring to show clients the watch in the metal rather than sell them a render.

It’s 38mm in stainless steel time-only, measures 9.35mm thick, and arrives with a textured grey dial, applied white gold indices, and an oversized small seconds in eggshell-finish grand feu enamel from Anita Porchet’s atelier. Beneath it, a vintage Cyma 586 base has been comprehensively reworked and hand-finished down to the interior angles.

Just 12 pieces will be available in the first series - set to be delivered in 2027 - with a price of CHF 65,000 (around A$112,000).

Don't scroll away! This is not a normal smartwatch, nor does it want to be connected to anything but your own wrist. What is it then? The @moserwatches Off-Grid is an analogue quartz watch that also sports a subsidiary digital screen, thanks to a bespoke movement from Swiss self-charging smartwatch experts Sequent. It's ana-digi - a 1980s term that also fits a Seiko Arnie or Breitling Aerospace - but it's not a normal ana-digi, as its name and manufacturer immediately suggest.

It's also the most affordable Moser ever, retailing for just under A$7,000, cased in a Streamliner case and featuring a dial that's half electronics, half classic Moser craftsmanship. #norway provides today’s flipped pocket shot, proving to be about more than soccer star Haaland and the rowing fans at the World Cup.

Today, I am going all nationalist, wearing the @straum Jan Mayen Titanium, recently arrived and turning out to be a solid everyday chic fave.

Specs: It rocks an LJP movement in a slim, 39mm bead blasted Grade 5 titanium case, with polished details that accentuate the shape, but is equally about the dial. In deep olive with a golden undertone, this is their late-2025 released limited collab with @timetidewatches, easily making Straum one of the top brands to come out of Scandinavia the last decade. Well done guys.
