Today I had some time in the morning to make it to 8am mass BUT not enough time to put on make up so I brought my travel make up bag with me. After mass I had 5 min before bible study so I ran to my car to put on my make up. I took my wedding ring off, put on my foundation and wiped my hands with baby wipes (yes I still buy Costco baby wipes). When I finished everything, I just got out of the car and you guessed it, my ring fell off my lap. Didn’t realize it until 445p when I was getting ready to head to the facility to have dinner with the hub. I went to get my ring from the usual spot in my bathroom and my heart completely sank. Where was my ring? And then I thought about my make up session in the car. I began crying and saying St. Anthony’s name about 100 times. I ran to my car, begging St. Anthony to help me find it there. I checked every square inch of the car and it wasn’t there. Then real huge tears started coming bc I knew it dropped in the church parking lot. I drove to the parking lot trying to remember where I parked. I got out and was running all over looking for a sparkly light everywhere on the gray, gravel. By this time I had said “St. Anthony please” about 250 times. I looked everywhere - under my car - everywhere. Finally, I assessed where my car was parked and thought, I think I parked one space over and so I moved my car and got out of it to look again. Within seconds I saw something sparkly and I found my ring!! It had been under my tire in a divet perfectly-sized enough for the ring to drop into and not be crushed by a tire. St. Anthony has come thru for me on so many many many occasions and even though I know he was giggling up there as I ran around like a crazy person, I will ALWAYS love my St. Anthony. My gratitude for my precious ring has never been greater. What a blessing to have lost it in order to realize how much it meant to me because when it was found - the tears of joy flowed out nonstop. Deepest gratitude. The meaning of this ring is powerful and renewed. Thank you St. Anthony. #blessings #stanthony #prayerswork #believer PS. I showed up to dinner with puffy eyes, sparse makeup and the best story to tell my hub over dinner. by @thoughtfulpinch

Here’s my mom. She has watched Jeopardy! since my brother was born 51 yrs ago. When she learned how to use the VCR, she would tape the show and watch it so she never missed an episode. Modern day DVRs makes this even easier. Today was the first time she went to see Jeopardy! as a studio audience member thanks to a wonderful friend. Not only did we watch two episodes in the audience but for the third episode we got to sit in the studio booth watching how the show is directed, enhanced, lighted, timed and more. The whole morning was the coolest experience. My mom is a hard person to give gifts to bc she needs nothing and anything we give her is too nice so she will “save it”. Result: it takes up space and collects dust. So this year her bday gift was to watch her favorite game shows in person. Next up, @gloriapellicer goes to Wheel of Fortune with her bestie. I have been waiting for a long time to get my mom something that she would love. I finally nailed it. #jeopardy #momishardtoshopfor #bucketlist✔️ Thank you @jbonds7!! by @thoughtfulpinch

It’s my Heinz 57 year of life. Which means I’m gonna have a zesty sweet year. Started off my 57th trip around the sun by honoring my son’s former high school football teammate. On 8/27/25 he came into the locker room due to a rain delay during a scrimmage or game. He collapsed from a brain bleed and every single day since then he has fought with every tooth and nail to gain all his bodily functions back. It’s been a very tough road but no one has given up hope. Prayers work. #57strong. I don’t think I’ll ever arrive at the day of my bday without thinking about #57 first. by @thoughtfulpinch

My trip was planned. I’d leave with my daughter today at 9am and land in Boston with plenty of time to have a nice evening. But on Monday I got the high school reminder email - Back to School Night is 8/27. I have never missed a B2S night ever. And of all the ones, this would be my very last B2S EVER. I rearranged everything to go. I’m so happy I went. I don’t get an award for making every single one but tonite’s was so special bc I got to see my picture on the wall and learn why. Melt my heart. So worth taking a red eye and landing at 6am in Boston on my bday. What a gift! So many “LASTS” 😩 #backtoschoolnight by @thoughtfulpinch

On this Thank You Card Thursday, I’m making it a two for one. Since I won’t be in Denver on National Thoughtful Day I’m giving @glendacebrianphotography her award today plus she gets a thank you card. 🙌 Glenda gets this award bc she is a very thoughtful neighbor and friend. She drops off small artwork on cards and flowers from her garden. She taught me how to make pasta sauce and takes me to DU hockey games (Champs AGAIN!). She invites me on hikes and leaves pumpkin spice bread to feed all my visitors who come for home games. Most of all, she cares so much about our neighborhood. I think bc she was a nurse, she just does these things as if it’s second nature. But I’m here to tell you, being thoughtful is not a given. I’m honored to know her and I’m grateful for her thoughtfulness. Thank you Glenda! #nationalthoughtfulday #thankyoucardthursday #myneighborsarethebest by @thoughtfulpinch

We are so grateful for @thoughtfulpinch for the bonding opportunity they gave our boys tonight! The Varsity team was picked last night and got to bond tonight at the #denverbroncos preseason game! What an amazing opportunity to get to know each other before the craziness of the season starts! We are all excited to see what you boys can do! It’s GO time!!! by @thoughtfulpinch

Short trip #2 started with a shuttle ride to ATL and landed at LAX at 930am today. Made it for the 11am baby shower at @chadotearoom in Torrance. Highest compliment was being told that the creativity of the shower decor/games might be traced back to when I babysat @ryryskuuu and my influence could’ve rubbed off on her. Hearing that made the almost 8 hour commute 💯worth it. Great to see @nickstagram3295 and @jordan.martucci - it was such an honor to be invited. Later today, it was fun (and necessary) to be with more Pellicers. So we (@tom.pellicer, @mrs_pamplona @coltonpellicer5, @heatherpellicer) celebrated my mom at @javiers - she’s now 83 yrs old and still trying to find a pina colada that is worthy of praise. BONUS: I got to meet Brody, the youngest with Pellicer blood. More bucket filling. #perfectlypellicer #shorttrips by @thoughtfulpinch

Short trips are so worth it if we can fill our buckets. In 1.5 days I was able to: try Little Rey’s in Atlanta with my cousin @pphoylman, meet Birdie, threaten to eat Auggie’s toes, catch a ride to ColGa with the one and only @raleighkwilliams, eat one of the best burgers at Animal Farm with her, @ramamom and @hal_williams, enjoy delicious pimento salad for lunch at Parker’s Pantry with those girls and @sandi_s_vaughn, fan-girled at the coffee shop that Theo of Golden was based on and then partied hard with the sweetest 50 yr old @clynch813. I left Georgia with my full bucket and new memories of Columbus - it’s been around 22 yrs since I’ve been there. by @thoughtfulpinch

My 8am Santa Rosa flight from Denver today turned into a 126p flight to Sacramento that really took off at 5p followed by a 2hr taxi ride to Barndiva where Lizzie, our server, knew to serve me a cold sparkly beverage the minute I sat down at 835p PST. My will was tested. However, I had been looking forward to this trip with my mom @gloriapellicer, my MIL @patoncarole, my SILs @camillepaton and @haileypatonn and her mom @sandiegodebb so the effort paid off. Even though I missed the whole day, the 1st night of the wine trip was super fun 🤩🥂. by @thoughtfulpinch

Teaching teenage boys is no “walk in the park”. So this summer, we hope the teachers can enjoy an all-expense paid trip to a park which includes: an outdoor blanket, a game*, gift card for a treat of their choice and a personalized zip pouch by @denvermonogramco. *the game is patriotic themed to get them in the spirit of celebrating America’s 250th bday. Maybe the teachers can RELAX at a park. 🤞 #teachergifts #endoftheyear #highschoolteacher #walmart by @thoughtfulpinch

This is the cherry 🍒on top of 12 days of Girl Time. My cup is full. 🥰

I hosted 4 parties for my girlfriends at my house between 4/7-4/15. And last night we filled 2 tables with moms for the high school gala.

I consider the parties at my house as fun penance for being the “gatekeeper” of my skin care and clean wines. Long story short: prior to these parties, I was being an anti-influencer aka gatekeeper by not sharing info on Olive Tree People products and Scout + Cellar wine. So I decided to share my secrets by having friends come over and learn directly from @daisyhelber. After the 4th party I felt pretty good that I provided the space + time for friends to learn and when the time comes, they could make informed decisions. I felt redeemed. 😇

At the high school gala, the hockey moms bought this turntable for me and it will always remind me of a really fun night with all of them. It’s the cherry on top 🍒 of good times with good friends. 🥰

Btw, I also won a pair of diamond earrings (valued at $6k) at the gala! 🤩

Gino’s helping me go thru this jar of thank you cards. Ideally, I should empty this jar out every January but that’s not realistic bc it takes me awhile to get over the NFL season and holidays. 🫣 I think this jar was empty last March ‘25 and now it’s April ‘26 so I’m a little off. BUT LOOK AT ALL THESE CARDS!!! So proud of those who still write cards. Not many do and so if you’re one that writes them, this one’s for you! Pat yourselves on the back. 🙌 #thankyoucardthursday #thankyoucards #nevertoolatetosaythankyou #ginotheitalianstallion by @thoughtfulpinch
