Losing a loved one can never be easy, but it is something that we will all have to face. How we deal with it is another matter. I believe that the circumstances surrounding the death of our loved ones are critical to how we respond. Some die tragically, while others are ill and waiting to ushered into eternity while some are untimely. Whatever the circumstances, we must learn to deal with grief and trauma as it can cause lifelong illnesses.

Research shows that there are five stages of grief.

🎈Denial - This is a temporary way to deal with the rush of overwhelming emotion.
🎈Anger - As reality sets in, you are faced with the pain of your loss and the feeling of helplessness and frustration sets in.
🎈Bargaining - At this stage, you start thinking about what you could have done.
🎈Depression - Sadness begins to take over as you begin to understand the loss and the effects it has on your life.
🎈Acceptance - This is the final stage of grief, accepting the reality of your loss. There are still feelings of sadness, but you able to move ahead with your life

Hey guys, just a little reminder to never give up on your children. Parenting is an extremely hard task with very little room for relaxation 😌, but with the constant support your children will make themselves proud and by extention you. Sometimes I wonder what the heaven 🤣I was doing to have all four children 🤔 because dear Lord they try me.

However, it's a beautiful experience to know that what you have poured in is manifesting in an incredible way. I give God thanks for His Grace and Mercy each and everyday because without Him it would not be possible.

This quote speaks to the enduring power of integrity over temporary noise. Rumors are often fleeting, built on lies and assumptions, but character is something that is consistently demonstrated through actions, decisions, and how one treats others over time.

When a person is grounded in strong values; honesty, respect, accountability, and consistency these qualities create a lasting reputation that cannot easily be shaken by what others say. While rumors may momentarily influence one's perspective, they eventually fade when confronted with a pattern of consistent genuine behavior.

So let's be reminded to focus less on defending against every whisper and more on living in a way that speaks for itself. In the long run, people may forget what was said, but they will remember how you showed up, how you handled challenges, and the integrity you maintained despite adversity. #notperfectbutdriven

I made a commitment to stay focused when it came to raising my children, especially in making sure they all had every opportunity and resource they needed to succeed. It was not an easy journey but God.

There were early mornings, long nights, band practices, and part time job which she chose to undertake all while maintaining a 3.9 GPA. But through it all, we stood by her side, supporting her every step of the way.

Everything we did was out of love. I want you to always remember how deeply you are loved and how proud we are of the young woman you are becoming.

My prayer is that God continues to bless you, keep you, and make His face shine upon you in all that you do.

And when life becomes challenging, I want you to know you are never alone. I am always just a phone call away. She made herself proud and by virtue of that we are her proud parents 🙏💯

Congratulations🎉🎊🎉🎊, Elle-Ann. Your journey is just beginning, and I know you will do amazing things.
