This is what community looks like!

On Sunday, Threaded From Heaven was filled with the sounds of Sewing Machines as young sewers came together for one reason, to give back.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this afternoon possible! It was great to see young people show up to use a skill they have to help other young people!

In collaboration with @Church On The Hill our Young volunteer spent their Sunday afternoon sewing 3 quilt tops for the @negaquiltsgforkids a nonprofit organization. The quilts will go on to provide comfort to kids. #threadedfromheaven #quiltingforkids #community

Good morning eveyone, even though the All Southeast Shop Hop is coming to a close on the 30th we have 14 magazines left.

These magazines are a great resource to stay in touch with 69 local shops in AL, GA, SC throughout the year. You might not have been able to reach a store this Shop Hop, but I’m sure everyone will welcome you in throughout the year.

Kids Sewing for a Cause!

We’re excited to collaborate with Church on the Hill for a special afternoon of sewing, service, and giving back to children in need.

📅 Sunday, September 27
⏰ 2:00–5:00 PM
📍 Threaded from Heaven

For this special community event, kids who already know how to use a sewing machine are invited to help us sew quilts for Quilting for Kids.

The quilt pieces will be precut and ready to sew, so our young sewists can come in, sit down at a machine, and put their sewing skills to work for a wonderful cause. 🪡

Completed quilts will be returned to Church on the Hill to help provide comfort to children facing difficult circumstances, including illness, abuse, and other hardships.

This is more than an afternoon of sewing. It’s an opportunity for our young makers to see how something created with their own hands can bring comfort, kindness, and love to another child. 💛

✨ Sewing experience is required.
✨ Quilt materials will be provided.
✨ Space is limited.

Join us as we sew with purpose and stitch kindness into our community.
