We wanted a tree for Christmas-and after realizing how much they cost we decided to make our own. It started with a wooden dowel and a thrifted base, and a lot of experimentation trying to figure out how to make the branches. We finally sourced the perfect material, old piano wire from @scrap_rva . Then we used our old bed sheet cut into strips and dipped in glue for more structure, and some acrylic paint. Finally we used felt found at @reconsideredgoods for the leaves. So happy with the results by @threebrainedrobot
