if you’re reading this i probably owe you an apology.

by the time i finished working on NEXT TIME, the concept of making music at all seemed very exhausting to me. i had no idea what i wanted to do next, and i was generally very jaded, uninspired and unapologetically distrustful of my peers. however, seeing how much that project resonated with the people in my life as well as people i’d never met before in places i’d never been eventually placed a huge battery in my back to work on something.

so why did i want to make this one a western film? one, because we are in the most hyper-surveilled, every-man-for-himself, duct tape on the switch ass, loneliness as a blanket ass time that i’ve ever experienced in my thirty years on this cursed ass planet and two, because i felt like i needed this project to be something greater than it is in order to justify working on anything.

but in turn i also learned that things don’t need to be greater than they are in order to be great at all. this album represents all of that to me.

and as a result, this is my proudest and least compromising body of work as an artist so far.

i am eternally grateful for all of the people i was able to trust to help me bring this to life.

@martinjballou @maroonmo0d @ruhng @ishgenius777 @luka.forreal @bunmiabari @mell0_vibe @3sidedezi @trumannali @derekfilms @jahknowone @jasminefoe @internetsuicidecult - thank y’all! i couldn’t have pulled this off without all of you.

so again, i should probably apologize for the wait - but i’m honestly too satisfied with the end result to do so.

i just hope the experience justifies it for you.

one of my favorite writing exercises for my pen is to write a song in a romantic context that actually has nothing at all to do with romantic love. i think this is the best execution of that idea that i’ve pulled off so far and also probably one of the best songs i’ve ever written. super proud of this one! shout out 2 dez for bringing it to life.

@threeeyedmouse_ just released his project “THE HOUSE THAT HATE BUILT” featuring locals from Houston and Baltimore City.
⚠️WARNING: Somatic drum & Bass tracks like “DISTANCE RUNNER” and “LONEY” will put you in a trance.
“USED2RIDECADILLACS” will make you bully phonies out their chains and whips.
Please excercise with extreme caution and enjoy 🎫

the last time i released an album my one regret is that i never got to perform the whole thing live in full. this time will be different! LIVE FROM THE HOUSE THAT HATE BUILT - 03/07/2026 at @thefridgedc

super excited to share the stage with some of my very good friends and close collaborators. we got BIG ISH @ishgenius777 making his return to DC all the way from screwston, tx as well as future trip-hop legend @maroonmo0d and the patron saint of non-corny real hip-hop @fonleezy in the mix. sounds by the inimitable @oysterbidet aka @djunt.il. pullup early cuz everyone on this jont is a HITTA and also because i will absolutely take it personally if u (yes, u) miss any of these sets.

if you’ve read this far i’m genuinely sorry. RA ticket link is live in the place that you know it to be in. hurry up and get over there cuz we have a limited amount of discounted worms available for early birds! see y’all real soon 👺 by @threeeyedmouse_
