Thank you to @summitdailynews and to everyone who voted in Best of Summit 2026 🏔️ With seven wins and more gratitude than we can fit in a caption, we’re feeling all the love you showed Rootstalk Hospitality this year! ✨

Threefold | Best Bakery and Best New Business
@rootstalkbreck | Best Fine Dining, Best Restaurant Service, and Best Restaurant: Breckenridge
@radicatobreck | Best Italian Restaurant (plus a finalist spot for Best Restaurant: Breckenridge!)
Chef @matty_vawter | Best Chef

These belong to the people behind the pass, out on the floor, and at the ovens before sunrise, and to the cooks, servers, bakers, dishwashers, and manager who bring the magic to all of our spots.

And, to the locals who are our biggest fans, who keep coming back and send their friends our way: you’re the reason we get to do what we do.

Congrats to all our fellow winners, too. How cool to be on this list with you!

We adore you, Summit!♥️ by @threefoldbreck

You may not be able to ball out on dinner at James Beard Award–winner Matt Vawter's @rootstalkbreck or @radicatobreck every night, but don't we all deserve a little sweet treat in the morning? 🥐 Enter Vawter's latest eatery: @threefoldbreck. The Breckenridge bakery focuses on the everyday pleasures of fresh-baked pastries, bread, and coffee. For this project, Vawter teamed up with longtime friends Melissa and Sean McGaughey of @quailandcondor and @troubadour.bread in Healdsburg, California.
