Nextones (@nextones) is an international festival that promotes sonic and landscape explorations in the territory of Val D’Ossola. The beating heart of the festival is Tones Teatro Natura, a disused quarry that, thanks to an environmental redevelopment project, has been transformed into an evocative theatre with two stages immersed in the rocks, which from time to time give life to an evocative dialogue between art and landscape. Over the years, Nextones has invited leading artists from the international scene to develop immersive performances specifically conceived for Tones Teatro Natura.

From 2019 we work with @tonesteatronatura Foundation to offer a contemporary, avant-garde artistic proposal, in line with the spirit of the festival, sharing a strong ecological sensitivity. The visual identity of Nextones 2026 is by photographer Rachele Daminelli.

Nextones is starting in less than a week, with perfomances by Daniel Blumberg, Carrier, Abdullah Miniawy & Simo Cell, Alessandro Adriani & Ariella Vidach, OKO DJ, John T. Gast, Helena Hauff, DJ Hell, OK Williams, Somatic Rituals, Miriam Adefris, Kenichi Iwasa, Laura Masotto, Shane Parish, Nosedrip.

« On November 2, 2023, a flood of the Senio destroyed one of Palazzuolo’s bridges. Lara Dâmaso’s project begins from that rupture and reflects on the desire to stay connected. The works draw on a historical quality of the place, shaped by the passage of different cultures and the coexistence of multiple identities. Two ceramic sculptures are placed on opposite banks of the river, in sheltered locations that invite bodily proximity. Their forms echo the layout of the village streets, turning paths into sound channels. The sculptures function as two parts of a single composition, split by the river flowing between them. The composition weaves together the artist’s voice and sounds gathered locally. Made in Portugal, the works introduce another ceramic presence into a place marked by exchanges between Tuscany and Romagna. Near the collapsed bridge, a sign holds the project’s poetic core, suspended between the flood and the news of its reconstruction. » Gabriele Tosi

Now in its seventh edition, @unaboccatadarte — @fondazioneelpis diffuse art project — brings together 20 artists across 20 villages and 20 regions, from June 20 to October 4, 2026, turning small Italian communities into sites of contemporary creation.
Threes Productions has collaborated with the project since its first edition, curating selected regional interventions each year.
In Veneto, Lugo di Vicenza (VI) welcomes Continua, a new project by composer and artist Renato Grieco, curated by Giovanni Giacomo Paolin and Sara Maggioni together with Threes Productions.
Combining a musical performance with a sculpture-object activated as a stage prop, the work draws on three elements rooted in local memory — the costume, the bell, the bell tower — reflecting on the historical cycles of a community shaped by its paper mill and by the absent tower of its central square. The opening performance is followed by a walk to the small church of Santi Pietro e Paolo.

For its seventh edition, @unaboccatadarte — the diffuse contemporary art project conceived by Fondazione Elpis, bringing together 20 artists, 20 villages and 20 regions across the Italian peninsula — returns from June 20 to October 4, 2026 with new site-specific interventions born from residency, listening, and local craft.

Threes Productions has collaborated with the project since its first edition, curating selected regional interventions each year.

In Tuscany, the small town of Palazzuolo sul Senio (FI) welcomes Swiss artist Lara Dâmaso (@lalalaradamaso), with a project curated by Gabriele Tosi together with Threes Productions.

O fluxo que unisce não se atravessa takes the 2023 flood that destroyed one of the town’s bridges as its starting point, reflecting on bonds that don’t need to be crossed to exist. Two ceramic sculptures, produced in Portugal, rise on opposite riverbanks: their forms echo the village’s streets, turning passageways into sound channels where the artist’s voice meets the sounds of the territory.

@unaboccatadarte, @fondazioneelpis’s nationwide diffuse art project, opens its seventh edition with 20 artists activating 20 villages across all 20 Italian regions, from June 20 to October 4, 2026 — a project built on residency, research, and community.

Threes Productions has collaborated with the project since its first edition, curating selected regional interventions each year.

In Puglia, the Gargano village of Ischitella (FG) hosts In questo frangente, a new work by sound artist @_enricomalatesta, curated by @vogaartproject — Flavia Tritto and Nicola Guastamacchia — together with Threes Productions. A brass plate, treated with fire and oxidation, becomes an acoustic, tactile and visual map: engraved with symbols that translate ambient sounds, urban reverberations and acoustic traces, it invites an embodied, subjective listening of Ischitella — a surface to be looked at, touched, heard and walked through.

Threes presents NINOS DU BRASIL (live) and HYPERVERBENA (hybrid set) at Green&Blue Festival 2026

HYPERVERBENA is the hybrid audiovisual project by Lechuga Zafiro and Verraco, a visceral plunge into the raw and surreal dimensions of sudaka identity. Emerging from the electronic music scenes of the Global South and affiliated with labels such as XL Recordings, Tra Tra Trax, and Timedance, the duo transforms the DJ set into a space of constant collision between electronic performance, physical gesture, and sonic manipulation.

Through the extreme use of mixers, external effects, and live electronic percussion, Hyperverbena constructs a language built on radical contrasts: speed and slowness, aggression and sensuality, chaos and precision. The result is an intense and destabilizing audiovisual performance where sound and image become tools of memory, resistance, and collective transformation.

GEDI Gruppo Editoriale and Threes are thrilled to invite you to the Green&Blue Festival 2026, taking place on June 5 at the Museo Nazionale della Scienza e della Tecnologia in Milan.

Once again, Threes curates the festival’s music programme, bringing together artists who blur the boundaries between club culture and sonic exploration.

NINOS DU BRASIL is a project whose origins and background have remained deliberately shrouded in mystery. Through a bold fusion of batucada, old school techno, stadium spirit choruses, and hardcore intensity, the duo has built a singular and unmistakable sonic universe. Their rare live appearances have become legendary: condensed, high-impact performances where Carnival energy collides with the raw physicality of rave and noise culture.

NDB’s live set unfolds as a feverish interplay of rhythm, trance, and collective chaos, transforming the stage into a visceral celebration suspended between ceremony and sonic confrontation.

It was a pleasure to be part of Prada Frames (@prada), curated by Formafantasma (@formafantasma), shaping its musical programme through a series of live performances.
For the opening night in the evocative setting of Basilica di Santa Maria delle Grazie, we invited two artists with distinct practices to engage with a space where sound, architecture, and presence naturally converge.

Hania Rani moved between classical, ambient, and electronic languages, unfolding a performance built on delicate shifts in tone and texture, where restraint gradually opened into cinematic, immersive soundscapes.

Precious Renee Tucker (@preciousreneetucker) approached the piano as a physical, expanded instrument, layering intensity and invention across classical, free jazz and experimental vocabularies, shaping a performance defined by tension and a raw energy.
