Today’s effort in the sunshine. View from Jenny Bells Well past Old Lifeboat house in pastel. Swipe to see sketch in-situ. For ‘Vera’ fans the Old Lifeboat House was used recently in a show when a group of friends met on Lindisfarne and one was murdered. The lifeboat house was really adapted to look like a holiday cottage. Back to a lifeboat house today by @threetreesceramics

Final one for now. This one was waiting for an earthenware fire and got forgotten about at the back of the shelf!
Design depicts where I started from ceramically with the inspiration from the three trees I see from my home in the gorgeous village of Marsden.
Design is sgraffito’ed then I’ve embellished with a little glazed bullfinch who visited our garden at the time

Been catching up on some glazing. Under glazed outside/ glazed inside allows for a contrast of surface textures that I love. This piece is titled Blue Crocus and is a gift for someone who isn’t on insta

9 years ago I went self employed so I could have more freedom to choose how my life could be. Days like today don’t happen often in reality but when they do they are golden! Underglazed orchids on small bowl. Just busy glazing inside. I’ve sneaked a cheeky photo in of amazing lunch @omiswheretheheartisyoga to cause #foodenvy. So satisfying to watch my Teal Asha Hand Block printed cotton from @fabricgodmother drying on the line. It’s hand printed using traditional, carved wooden blocks in Rajhasthan. What to sew with it🤔.
I’ve noticed much of my feed on Three Trees Ceramics has been more art and making recently. Since I’ve acquired my lovely sewing studio, I’m going to swap non ceramic posts to @made_by_pippa so please follow me there to see what this beautiful cloth becomes… by @threetreesceramics

Got myself a little sewing studio space at The Loft Space in Slawit. Got some nice plants, a nice coffee and now feel settled in to do some sewing. #procrastination Swipe for original painting by @peter_urban_sketcher which I felt belonged in this space by @threetreesceramics

I’d planned on making Gel Prints this last week after my operation last Saturday, ever the foolish optimist! 😂. Finally felt well enough yesterday to have a go, here’s some cards for starters. Interesting technique with unique and surprising results at times
