CREATING new POSSIBILITIES
POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
Grateful for the opportunity to meet President Emmanuel Macron and Mrs. Brigitte Macron.
It was an honour to present 'Ode to Indonesian Culture' directly to the President,
and a meaningful moment when PINTU Incubator was acknowledged in his speech.

Thank you to l’Ambassade de France en Indonésie and l’Institut Français d’Indonésie for walking alongside us in this journey.
May this partnership between Indonesia and France continue to grow
with shared purpose, mutual respect, and lasting impact across both nations.

Today, we had the great honor of presenting @pintu_incubator journey and @lakon_indonesia to Madame @rachida.dati , French Minister of Culture,
accompanied by Madame @eva_binh , President of L’Institut français.

The visit culminated in the signing of an MOU between PINTU Incubator and @ecoleduperreparis , represented by Mr. @asoreil Director of the institution,
a meaningful step toward long-term collaboration in creative education and cultural exchange.

This milestone was witnessed by Mr. Soegianto Nagaria, Chairman of @jf3_info Fashion Festival,
with the support of the @franceenindonesie and @ifi_indonesia

PINTU Incubator is not just a program, it’s a movement.
Rooted in culture, driven by purpose.
And as it grows, it continues to shape a future where creativity transcends borders.

Chevalière de l'Ordre des Arts et des Lettres

Seven years ago, I started Lakon Indonesia... not just as a fashion brand, but as an ecosystem dedicated to preserving and elevating Indonesian craftsmanship.

Today, through Lakon Indonesia, JF3, and Pintu Incubator, we have built a strong foundation that empowers artisans, designers, and small businesses to thrive.

With the support of the French government and our incredible partners, we continue our mission: ensuring that Indonesian heritage is not only preserved but remains relevant and create economic opportunities for the artisans.

Grateful for the journey, the recognition, and the unwavering belief in what we do...

Thank you to everyone who has been part of this journey, your belief and support have meant everything to me...

A memorable finale of the trip... 'Présidentiel Menu' by chef @pascaldayou .

It was an honor to experience his culinary excellence, a remarkable chef who has served five presidents throughout his career at l'Élysée.
Merci!

Paris part two...

Grateful for the friendship, the conversations, the trust, and how everything continues to grow little by little.

Somehow... every time I return, Paris feels more and more like second home.

Paris part one ...

We were welcomed so warmly by our friends.

What touched me most was how willing everyone was to share their knowledge, experience, and time, and to really think about what could be useful for the development of our participants.

Premiere Classe was also a new experience for us, especially because this time we brought the two co-creation collections from the PINTU Residency. Seeing the collections in Paris felt like a meaningful step in this journey.

Batik has always been more than tradition.

At its heart, it is a story woven into fabric and brought to life.

So why define how it should be worn?

At Lakon Indonesia, we see batik as a canvas to explore. To mix and match, to play, and to make it your own.

Because when we let batik breathe beyond its frames, it comes alive in more exciting ways.

Indonesian fashion has never suffered from a shortage of material. The country has textiles, techniques, artisans, regional traditions, and generations of knowledge in abundance. The harder question is what happens when all that richness is presented to the world through the same familiar cues.

For Thresia Mareta (@thresia.mareta)—Advisor of JF3 Fashion Festival, founder of LAKON Indonesia, and co-initiator of PINTU—the answer lies in changing how that knowledge is used.

At multi-concept brand LAKON Indonesia (@lakon_indonesia), She has spent years working at the intersection of craft and commerce, helping artisans develop sustainable markets while giving designers the knowledge to understand, challenge, and reinterpret traditional techniques.

Her work sits within a larger ecosystem at JF3 Fashion Festival 2026 (@jf3_info), where the runway connects to talent development, retail, business education, international exchange, and market access. The design program PINTU takes that work further, preparing Indonesian designers for international markets through mentorship, industry exposure, and its partnership with the French Embassy and Institut Français d’Indonésie.

Indonesian fashion does not need to look international to compete internationally. It needs to know what it already has, understand how to use it, and make the world pay attention.

Thresia Mareta argues that international audiences have been given the same visual shorthand for Indonesian fashion: batik, traditional motifs, carved wood, clay pots, and familiar cultural references repeated from one presentation to the next.

The culture is rich; the presentation can be predictable. Preserving tradition, however, does not mean freezing it in place.

For Mareta, designers need to understand how textiles are made, work closely with artisans, and find contemporary ways to give inherited techniques a reason to exist today.

The busiest week of my year...
JF3 Gala
JF3 Fashion Festival.
PINTU Focus Week.
The signing of the PINTU Foundation.
And LAKON Indonesia’s annual presentation.

There was a long period of preparation behind it, and there is still a long list of things to follow up on.

It was intense, tiring, and meaningful all at once.

A Matcha Experience…
It was such a pleasure to host a small private gathering and share one of my favourite things.
I selected two kinds of japanese matcha and paired them with three Indonesian treats I love: kue pepe, klepon, and sago keju.

Simple and unplanned...
Just a moment to share flavours, stories, and a little part of what I personally enjoy.

.
*thank you to @harrisklpgading team for helping me creating it.
