I’m currently on a little Baltics tour (Latvia/Estonia) and have been rummaging through local thrift stores (without much luck). Today I found this cutie candle holder for 2€!✨ I hope everyone is having a wonderful summer, I’m enjoying mine a lot this year.🪲

When I see a used Marimekko Jokapoika shirt in good condition for a reasonable price (this time 24€), there’s a high chance I will buy it. 💅🏻 My mum used to have several vintage Jokapoika shirts, and I was flabbergasted when I heard she cut them into rags to make rugs out of them. 🤠

Everything apart from the shoes is thrifted! The past years I’ve generally managed to buy shoes second hand as well, but this time I was in a hurry to find good walking shoes before our trip to Japan in February.

It’s finally outdoor flea market season.✨ I recently went to one with the agenda to find picture frames for my bedroom art wall (imo if there is one thing that’s completely unnecessary to buy new as you WILL find some second hand, it’s frames). And that’s exactly what I found, super cheap too! A funny plus was that the seller of the brown frame had forgotten their childhood photo inside. 🐸

I bought the print on the left from an art student, the painting on the right is by me. It’s my first summer having a balcony, so I’m planning to spend the summer sitting there, staring into the garden and painting.🧚🏻 by @thriftfaul

I don’t really like winter, but it does feel less lame when I’m wearing this tiger print fleece jacket I recently thrifted and am now obsessed with. 🐅🐅🐅 Other good thrift finds from this winter include this Marimekko bag, these baggy jeans (currently my favourite pair) and this very basic but very cheap (1€!) scarf.

Happy new year! 🐣✨

2025 was such a fun year, but I got even lazier with this account. 🥲 In 2025 I thrifted a bunch of cool stuff, including two of these beautiful Arabia plates for 3€ each. There are many other cute bits I want to post when we get more daylight and I get out of the winter slump.

I also went to concerts a lot, exercised more than ever, got rid of my sugar addiction and got promoted at work. My plans for 2026 are to go to Japan, draw/paint more and try out new thrifting spots. 😌 by @thriftfaul

One of my favourite thrifting hacks is looking for things you need off-season. I spent two summers hunting for nice denim shorts that actually fit me and was starting to feel hopeless, until I found two pairs for 7€ in the middle of winter. 🤠 Also thrifted my favourite wool cardigan in May, so yes, a firm believer of the off-season theory here. 🤝🏻

I want to say I had a busy summer, but honestly I just worked a lot and the warm months went by in a blink of an eye. We moved to a new apartment in August and I loveee it here, it’s so much nicer than the previous one and we even have a balcony. 🥹 The interior is coming together very slowly, since obviously everything should be thrifted hehe.

Here are some lovely @tori_fi finds: frame 2€ and vintage mirror 25€! Can’t wait to collect more cute 2nd hand stuff on this wall. ✨

Guess who got upset about Instagram changing their square grid into rectangles and accidentally took a 6-month-break from posting.🙋🏼‍♀️

Just wanted to come say hi after a few silent months.👋 I had the longest flu of my life (featuring one full month of aggressive cough 😭) and I feel like I'm still more tired than usual (could also just be November).

My boyfriend doesn't quite approve of this bunch of ✨️thrifted trinkets✨️ that reside on our dining table, according to him a dining table should be used for dining purposes only...(no but I seriously need to get some shelves though 😅).

You know you've done a good job when the thrift store staff compliment your finds. 🥹 That's what happened to me with this cute vintage mirror I recently copped for 4€ at a nearby store.

I can't believe the summer is almost over, I'm so not ready for the dark months that lie ahead. 🥲 At least I have a new (old) hobby to keep me occupied - I finally started learning Japanese again, after accidently taking a five-year break (oops).
