We used to print out our annual Halloween anniversary pic for holiday cards and we’ve sadly fallen out of the tradition, but here’s 2026 - 18 married, 19 together. This year has been full of brutal challenges and unbelievable blessings. Thank you to everyone who has helped us get to this milestone. 12-2.30pm collective assemblage and mapping at gmtc
2.45-5pm publication distribution walk in the city

on june 13th, gmtc-golden monkey trading company 金猿商社 presents 𝙨𝙝𝙚𝙡𝙛-𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙗𝙡𝙚: 𝙖 𝙟𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝙤𝙛 𝙢𝙪𝙩𝙪𝙖𝙡 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙫𝙞𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜 by interdisciplinary artist 𝗮𝗷𝗮 𝗯𝗼𝗻𝗱 as part of 𝒐𝒖𝒕𝒍𝒊𝒏𝒆𝒔 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒂 𝒅𝒊𝒔𝒑𝒆𝒓𝒔𝒆𝒅 𝒄𝒐𝒎𝒎𝒐𝒏𝒔. *note: participants are encouraged to attend the full program, which unfolds over the course of the afternoon.

initiated by 𝗯𝗼𝗻𝗱, 𝙨𝙝𝙚𝙡𝙛-𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙗𝙡𝙚: 𝙖 𝙟𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝙤𝙛 𝙢𝙪𝙩𝙪𝙖𝙡 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙫𝙞𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜 is a participatory publishing project exploring food preparedness, distributed infrastructure, and collective resilience through the form of an open-edition journal attached to shelf-stable food. drawing from the visual language of emergency manuals, grassroots organizing, and ecstatic public pedagogy, the publication combines practical strategies for food security with reflections on mutual aid, supply chain fragility, preservation, storage, and collective survival.

over the course of the activation, participants will move through a series of collective activities including a presentation on the project’s conceptual background and research lineage, collaborative assembly of the journal objects, mapping and planning distribution routes through little free libraries, neighborhood walks in small groups, and the refinement of a shared digital platform through which the publication can continue to circulate, evolve, and remain publicly accessible over time.

𝙨𝙝𝙚𝙡𝙛-𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙗𝙡𝙚 proposes mutual provisioning as both a practical and imaginative exercise: a way of building capacity for continuity, care, and collective endurance amid increasing instability in contemporary food systems.

𝗮𝗷𝗮 𝗯𝗼𝗻𝗱 is an interdisciplinary artist whose practice brings together craft, social practice, publishing, and speculative research.

Remembering back to this time 8 years ago - I was only 4 months into the process of immigrating to the US. Came out of a meeting @subrosa_space to the results of the election. Went to the Irish pub down the street with @_gmssmg_ and @temple_of_the_waters to let it sink in and commiserate with the people. Someone played “Ship of Fools” on the Jukebox. It felt like this feels, except that I’m a little older and a lot more tired. by @thriftmystic

This guy! @cvnt_eyes invited me to a very special VIP backstage experience with “Dad” aka John Waters and I gotta say, he’s still got it. And his fans are all freaks! by @thriftmystic
