It’s been a long time since I last built and set up a car, something that has always been more than just a hobby to me. It’s a passion that has been part of who I am.
But as time went by, life happened. Other priorities had to come first, especially the expenses and challenges that came with taking care of my health. Little by little, the passion I once had began to fade as I focused on what mattered most at that time.
But God is truly good. 🙏❤️
After everything I’ve been through in my kidney transplant journey, He has given me the chance to rediscover a part of myself that I thought I had left behind.
Today, I’m reminded that sometimes, God allows us to pause, go through difficult seasons, and let go of things we love for a while—not to take them away forever, but to prepare us for what He has planned ahead.
By His grace, He restores not only our health and strength, but also the passions that make us who we are.
Thank You, Lord, for the gift of another chance, for the blessings that come after the struggles, and for reminding me that Your plans will always unfold in Your perfect time.
One step at a time, one blessing at a time, all by Your grace.
God is good, all the time. And His plans are always worth the wait.

Habang pinagmamasdan ko ang mga paintings na ito sa 3F ward ng NKTI, Naalala ko ang simula ng CKD journey ko 15 years ago, as in wala ako nararamdamang sintomas hanggang sa nagpa check up na lang ako at mataas ang BP. Dahilan ng pagkasira ng bato ko.

Di ko binalewala, inalagaan ko pa nga maigi e kaya nagtagal bago mag progress to end stage kidney failure. Pero ganon siguro talaga, lifestyle, stress and attitude towards life at yung pinaka pinagsisisihan ko na nagtiwala ako sa sarili kong lakas. Hindi pala dapat. Kundi sa Kanya lang. ☝️

Ang mga guhit na ito ang magpapaalala sa akin kung gaano kahiwaga ang buhay ng tao na ibinigay Niya at pag aari Niya, na kailangan natin pangalagaan ang bawat parte nito.

Madaming matatapang pero iilan lang ang BUO ANG LOOB at isa ka na don, Ethan my son.

Lalo mo pinatayog ang lahat ng meron ka bilang anak namin at kapatid sa mga kapatid mo.

My last "sinful meal" together with my whole fam before ma admit sa hospital for kidney transplant.
