November is National Family Caregivers Month, and this one is especially close to our hearts. Our Center is made up of caregivers many of our own team members carry that role at home, too, understanding firsthand that caregiving never truly clocks out. You are advocates, problem-solvers, companions, and steady sources of love, showing up through appointments, daily routines, hard decisions, and countless moments no one else sees.

While this month brings special recognition, our gratitude doesn’t end here we see you and honor you every day. To every parent, family member, and team member who keeps showing up with patience, courage, and heart: your work matters, your sacrifices are seen, and you are never alone on this journey. 💚

Thrive Takes the Scene at Arena Stage! 🎭🥁

This week’s Let’s Get Social outing brought our Thrive champions to @arenastage for Step Afrika!’s The Fruits of Our Labor a truly unique theatre experience featuring an exciting mix of stepping, live percussion, movement, storytelling, and striking visuals.

The fun didn’t stop there! We headed to the Wharf for lunch and even more great company. Outings like these capture everything Let’s Get Social is about: blending community integration, social connection, learning, and culture into one memorable experience.

A special thank-you to Robert in Group Sales and the Arena Stage team for their warm welcome and hospitality during our visit!

October at Thrive is HERE and it’s a BIG one! 🍂

It’s National Disability Employment Awareness Month, and we’re shouting it loud: “Don’t DIS our Abilities!”

Know someone working hard at their job or volunteering, doing it their own way and making a difference? Tag them! Tell them they’re amazing, you’re proud of them, and to keep going showing up matters.

Thrive is here with employment resources, support, and community connections to help people with disabilities grow, work, and reach their goals.

October is also all about connection and engagement at Thrive! 🍁Our Fall Festival is coming: games, music, your favorite fall treats, and inclusive activities for all abilities and families as we celebrate the season together.

Community providers, vendors, and partners: come network, share your resources, meet our community, and experience what makes Thrive a place where advocacy and community come together.

🚨 Everyone stop what you’re doing and congratulate Jordan on the completion of his internship at Thrive! 🚨

We are incredibly proud of the dedication, growth, and hard work Jordan demonstrated throughout his time with us. Armed with the tools and guidance he learned through our Thrive Life Skills Program regarding job skills development, we know he is going to go on to do absolutely amazing things!

The best part? Along the way, he made friends and grew his social skills and communication. Jordan is simply not the same person who walked into our center back in July 2025!

Although he has completed his internship, he isn’t going anywhere! Jordan is very much still a part of our family and remains one of the true champions in our community! 💚

At Thrive, we are NOT a one size fits all center. Our mission is to support our individuals in increasing their strengths and capabilities. We hone in on their unique abilities, supporting them with real-life skills whether that’s employment, volunteering, or simply more social interaction with their peers in the community.

We offer this through our Thrive Life Skills Program and FREE social activities! We are here to champion growth, independence, and inclusion every single step of the way!

This past weekend we celebrated our one‑year anniversary at the Thrive Center of Maryland! A heartfelt thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate with us.
