ThriveIFC x Hope Walks Here

Two weekends ago our members showed up to support the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention at the UF Hope Walks Here event. Walking together we stood for something bigger raising awareness supporting those who are struggling and reminding our community that no one has to go through it alone.

Great turnout at our ThriveIFC Coffee & Study Social.

Members gathered at the Gator Wesley Center to connect, get work done, and take a break from the busy semester. The event also featured a trivia competition, with attendees testing their knowledge for a chance to win a prize.

ThriveIFC GBM #3 focused on vulnerability, support, and strengthening brotherhood.

Our ambassadors discussed how to approach brothers who may be struggling, the importance of vulnerability within our community, and ways we can normalize open conversations while reducing the stigma surrounding mental health in Greek life.

These conversations are an important step toward building a culture where support, accountability, and genuine connection are part of everyday brotherhood.

ThriveIFC GBM #2 focused on awareness, action, and impact.

In partnership with AWARE, our ambassadors gained practical tools to recognize when peers may be struggling, engage in meaningful conversations, and strengthen the culture of support within Greek life.

The discussion emphasized proactive outreach, stress management strategies, and building “mental muscles” that promote long-term resilience and accountability.

Thank you to AWARE for providing valuable insight and equipping our ambassadors to lead with purpose.
