Kit Appreciation Post.

Wanted to give a massive shout out to @cuttingedgeshirts2 for customising this 1994/95 PSG Beaut 🔥

This one means a ton.

I grabbed this kit in lockdown (aware it’s not the European variant) and stoked at the job Chris has done on it. Best in the business. It really takes me back, the way only kits can. & I’ll definitely be too scared to ever properly wear it out.

I discovered football via the Parc Des Princes in the mid-90s. My second ever game in the flesh, saw Paris play with the European Liptonic Sponsor vs Barca ( my first was a 0-0 vs Zidane’s Bordeaux). I can still visualise the Metro almost derailing, in the madness of post-match celebrations.

Unfortunately Boban taught us a lesson in the next round, giving me my first proper taste of football heartbreak.

Amongst strong competition, this team had 3 Greats; Rai, Weah & Ginola. Had to get ‘El Magnifico’ on the back of this one. He was my idol and when I moved to London, he turned me into a Spurs fan too. He was just as magnetic at WHL. & I’ll conveniently blame him for the subsequent misery…

Everyone in school could grab the Seat/Tourtel Kit (sponsor peeling within months) but these Liptonic were never available. Still haven’t got my hands on an original either.

I’ve got a range of PSG kits in its own category, for sale in the EBay bio link 💙❤️…but this one is firmly stashed in the personal vault.
