Imagine flying all the way to Maui and never seeing this view. 🌺🌊

If you’re planning a trip to Maui, don’t skip the ʻOhai Trail — one of the most underrated coastal hikes on the island.

🌊 Why it’s so special:
This 1.2-mile coastal loop hugs the rugged cliffs of West Maui with nonstop ocean views, crashing waves, lava rock landscapes, and seasonal wildflowers. On a clear day, you can even see Molokaʻi across the water.

🥾 Trail details:
• ~1.2 mile loop
• Mostly flat + beginner friendly
• Great with kids 👶
• Windy + exposed (bring water + hold onto hats 😅)
• Unreal sunset potential 🌅

🚗 How to get there:
Located on the northwest side of Maui past Kapalua, right off Honoapiʻilani Highway. Type “ʻOhai Trail” into Google Maps and you’ll find a small roadside parking area. It’s about 45–60 minutes from Lahaina depending on traffic. Go early morning or around sunset for the best lighting (and fewer crowds).

✨ Why we loved it:
You get dramatic, postcard-worthy views without a grueling climb. Short hike. Huge payoff. The kind of stop most people drive right past — and regret later.

If Maui is on your bucket list, save this for your itinerary. 🌎

🎃 SAVE these tips for the perfect fall trip to Salem.🍂

⛴️ Getting there: Consider taking the ferry from Boston (about 1 hour) for a scenic ride, or hop on the MBTA commuter rail (around 30 minutes) if you’re looking for the faster, more budget-friendly option. Better yet, try one each way! Both drop you within walking distance of Essex Street, where many of Salem’s top attractions, shops, and restaurants are located, so you really don’t need a car.

👟 Wear comfortable shoes. Salem is best experienced on foot, so plan to spend plenty of time walking through the historic streets.

🎟️ Book your tour early. The historical Salem Witch Trials tours are incredibly popular in the fall. I’ve taken the Bewitched Historical Tour four different times, and it’s still one of my favorite experiences in Salem.

🍁 Visit on a weekday if you can. September or early October offers all the fall charm with fewer crowds than peak Halloween season.

❤️ Be respectful. Salem is a real community where people live and work year-round. Supporting local businesses and being mindful of residents helps keep the city special for everyone.

📩 Send this to the person you’re planning to visit Salem with this fall! 🎃🍁

📸 Painted Wall View: See Colorado’s tallest cliff, towering 2,250 feet above the Gunnison River!

🚐 Make it a road trip: Pair this park with Ouray, Telluride, or the Million Dollar Highway for an unforgettable Colorado adventure.

Did we just find the best place to sit in all of Colorado?

📍 Ouray, Colorado — the little mountain town known as the Switzerland of America.

🥾 The Ouray Perimeter Trail is about 5.8 miles, with roughly 1,600–1,800 feet of elevation gain. It’s rated moderate to challenging, but you can hike shorter sections if you’re just looking for the views!

🌄 Along the way, you’ll find waterfalls, dramatic canyon views, and this bench that might just be worth the stop all on its own.

💾 Save this for your Colorado bucket list!

October in Salem just hits different. 🧙🏻‍♀️🍂

If you’re planning a fall trip to Salem, here are a few ways to make it extra special:

⛴️ Take the ferry from Boston for a scenic ride into Salem instead of driving and dealing with parking.

🕯️ Book a historical Salem Witch Trials tour to learn the real stories behind one of the most fascinating (and haunting) chapters in American history.

🍁 Visit on a weekday if you can! October weekends get incredibly busy, so going Monday–Thursday can make exploring downtown, browsing the shops, and enjoying the fall atmosphere much more enjoyable.

📍 And if October is your only option, book tours ahead of time and arrive early to make the most of your day!

Salem is one of those places that feels especially magical in the fall, and there’s so much more to it than Halloween decorations. 🍂

Save this for your New England fall bucket list, and send it to someone you want to visit Salem in October with! 👇🏻

Tell me this doesn’t look like an entirely different planet. 🏜️😍

Great Sand Dunes National Park is home to the tallest sand dunes in North America, with massive golden dunes set against the Sangre de Cristo Mountains. And there’s so much more to experience here than a quick photo stop!

A few things we recommend before you go:

🏜️ Stop at the visitor center first. Learn about the dunes, check current conditions, and get tips for your visit.

🥾 Hike into the dunes. We made it to High Dune, and the views over the dunefield were worth the workout!

🏕️ Stay at Piñon Flats Campground. It would be easy to drive in, take a few pictures, and leave, but camping here gives you more time to explore and really experience the park.

👶🏻 Visiting with a little one? We brought our one-year-old! Just plan around the heat because the sand can get dangerously hot.

📍 Save this for your Colorado bucket list!

This town feels like Colorado’s best-kept fall postcard. 🍂🏔️

Tucked into the Elk Mountains in southwestern Colorado, 📍Crested Butte is surrounded by mountain peaks, golden aspen groves, and some of the prettiest fall scenery we’ve seen. When the aspens turn gold and the mountains start getting their first dusting of snow, it’s easy to see why people fall in love with this place.

A few of our favorites:
☕ Camp 4 Coffee for your morning caffeine
🍕 Secret Stash for pizza worth talking about
🥯 Butte Bagels for an easy breakfast
🚐 Crested Butte RV Resort for a great home base to explore the area

Crested Butte has that mountain-town charm that makes you want to stay a little longer. 🍁
