Caved to the 2026 is the new 2016 trend.

Spent majority of the year travelling and living in bikinis. I worked on the front door of Elsewhere night club, spent most weekends at the beach, cafe hopping or out riding on the motorcycle with @yr_amphibious_friend and seeing live music with friends. It was that year that cemented our relationship and I’m forever grateful for the fun we had together before our little babes came along. This year is the wedding. 3 years (and 1 week!) of Bloom, our little rainbow baby 🌸🌈✨

I first came across her name 6 years ago, when I was only a few months pregnant with Bowie. I looked up the meaning and found a quote that said, “…a beautiful process of becoming.” In that moment, I knew—this was our daughter’s name.

Over these past three years, our sweet flower child has lived up to her name in every way, blossoming into herself and bringing life to a part of my heart that I never knew existed.

From the moment she was laid on my chest at birth, I knew she was special and our bond would be one of a kind.

They say when you’re given a daughter, it’s because someone knew you could use a lifelong friend 🥲❤️‍🩹

She tells Daddy that Mummy is her best friend and insists she goes to sleep with me every single night (which I’m secretly not mad about 🥰)

She is loving, carefree, deeply kind, intuitive to others and forever making us laugh with her hilarious and very cheeky personality.

However, she’s no pushover. She’s fierce, stands her ground, and I know that strength will serve her well one day.

No matter how chaotic the day gets, just seeing her instantly grounds me. I treasure every moment watching her simply be herself—radiant, joyful, and full of light.

You’re imaginative, creative, smart, cautious, cheeky, and incredibly caring 🫶🏽 You’ve worked so hard this past year, and I couldn’t be prouder of the progress you’ve made.

Your love for Lego still holds strong, but now we can add Star Wars to your list of special interests! You’ve also started asking all sorts of questions Mum is definitely not prepared for 😵‍💫😂

As my firstborn we’ve experienced everything together. You’ve taught me more about myself in these five years than anyone I have ever known. Every single day, you remind me just how deep our capacity to love unconditionally really is. I may not be perfect, but you are without a doubt the most perfect child for me 🫶🏽

There is no greater achievement than getting to be their Mama. In the last 5 years these two have taught me so much more than I will ever teach them 🫶🏽🥹 Every day with them brings endless amounts of laughter amongst the chaos.
