I took some time to go back through my journal today. I found something to me that is super personal, but also ringing truer than ever. This is my entry from the 3/3/26 as I was trying to accept the risk I was about to take on embarking on this new journey. The moment you’ve all been waiting for - queue goosebumps 🔥

It’s with great pleasure that I present you the offical trailer of my debut documentary “Through My Eyes” Living With The Mentawai.

I couldn’t be more proud of this trailer and the work that’s gone into it. When I set out to create this production, the number one thing I wanted to capture was “human” what you’re left with without the titles, the jobs, the cars, money and all the things that distract us, and I truly think we achieved that.

Huuuuge shoutout to one of my Film Making Wizards @alex_fiebig who cooked up this trailer while boss man @jyotijako has been cooking with the full length documentary.

I really hope this documentary makes you feel human, gives you goosebumps as has you excited for the documentary to arrive for viewing.

I’m over the moon to announce my debut documentary is landing the last weekend of May 2026

“Through My Eyes” explores the way I move through the most incredible places with people that remain untouched from modern society and expectation. This is a series that is truly felt with connection and emotion. The full human experience.

Living with the Mentawai’s coming to a cinema near you, very soon 🥰 keep your eyes peeled for our first trailer dropping in the next few days.

Soooooo incredibly proud of the time, effort, sacrifice and people that have poured their hearts, sweat and tears into this production. With all your beautiful people’s help this will be the first of many beautiful documentaries.

I’m 26 and unemployed.
On purpose.

Not because I’ve got it all figured out.
But because I got tired of pretending I was okay living a life that didn’t feel like mine.

Two years ago I was sitting on the beach talking to strangers about grief while losing my pop. I didn’t realise those conversations would change me. I didn’t realise they’d slowly pull me out of the version of myself that was just surviving.

Somewhere between construction sites, sunsets, strangers’ tears and my own… I realised comfort was costing me growth.

So I quit.

Now I wake up on the Gold Coast, train too much, think too deeply, and in three weeks I’m flying to Indonesia to live with a tribe completely cut off from the world to film my first documentary.

I don’t know if this is brave or stupid.
I don’t know if it’ll work.
I just know staying the same felt worse than failing.

Call it funemployed.
Call it reckless.
Call it whatever you want.

I’m just trying to live a life that feels honest.

If you’re sitting on the edge of a leap… this is your sign.

Today, I woke up and saw a post from @the_shaka_project
It was an image saying that in the first 30 days of 2026 we’ve lost 80,000 people to suicide worldwide. My heart sank, it ached.

30 days, 80,000 beautiful people, lost forever.

I think most of us have had the heartbreaking experience to know someone around us who’s taken a life due to suicide or contemplated it.

It’s never easy to help someone who’s slowly dying inside, words don’t feel like enough, sometimes even actions don’t. To tell you the truth, we can’t always save someone from themselves.
But we can express how much they are loved and mean to us. So if you’re someone that has a friend that you have noticed being a little quieter lately or going through it, send them this reel. Or if you’re someone feeling dark and lost, hear this reel and read these words…

Some boys grow up believing love is something they have to earn.
That strength means silence.
That being needed is the same as being loved.

Some never hear the words that might’ve softened the weight they were carrying.
Some never stayed long enough to learn they were already enough.

This is for the boys who became men.
And for the ones we lost along the way.
