Sailing on the coast of BC w/ Iva + Merlin 🦀🪼🦭

Nothing beats the moment the motor stops, the sails go up and you’re gliding through the inlets in complete silence. A dream of an evening spent with amazing people.

This is your sign to get eloped on a sailboat in the West Coast. Seriously the best vibes.

Katie + Sava on Bowen Island 🦀

Their vision for their engagement shoot was to do what they love, explore small towns they’ve never been to. I instantly brought up the idea of Bowen Island and they were in. We headed over on the ferry from Vancouver, met up with some goats, went to the cidery and explored the beaches and forests.

On our way onto the ferry, Katie played this song and it unlocked so many memories. It felt perfect for this collage of their adventure day.

Katie + Sava, I adore the heck out of you!!

Thank you @peanutpicklesnfriends for hosting us 🥜

Photos that feel like memories rather than poses

I heard the term guided documentary from another photographer and it really spoke to me!! Without realizing the term, that’s totally what I do on a wedding day.

There are moments on a wedding day that deserve me to be observant and take a step back. Then there are moments where I step in and direct the photo.

The most important thing for me is that couples trust me to step in when needed and also let them enjoy the fleeting moments. ❤️

It’s all about balance & communication babyyy

A very dreamy day spent in Lake Como with D & T 🍸🐞

In Italian culture it’s considered good luck to see a bride. My nonna also told me that ladybugs are a symbol of good luck, protection and prosperity. During the ceremony at the villa, many people stopped to admire the couple and say congratulations but after the ceremony a lady bug landed on Danna’s dress. It was just meant to be.

Shot on 35mm film & digital.

To many years of luck to this cutie couple. 🐞❤️💋

A summer solstice backyard wedding of my dreams!!! 🌙

Such a special day filled with lush gardens, heartfelt speeches and dancing under the moonlight. These two are so so special and were just surrounded by such amazing people. No words to fully describe the day, so here’s some pics.

Luv u guys! ❣️❣️

IT’S WEDDING DAY FOR THESE TWO!!! 🦀🐚☀️

Over two years ago I got to document their proposal in Tofino and then a year later their engagement session on Bowen Island. It happened to be a torrential rain and wind storm right as the proposal was happening, but you’d never know by the pics. We were treated with a sunset that evening and met up back at the beach to snap some more pics. Such a special day I always look back on.

For two years I have connected with Katie + Sava and gotten to know them as a couple. It feels I’ve gotten to witness friends go through these phases and I can’t wait to celebrate with them today!!

A perfect sunny Vancouver day for K + J ❣️

Not only did it downpour the entire morning of their wedding, their guests and themselves flew all the way from Colorado for their wedding. Right as set up started the clouds parted and they were treated with sun for the rest of the day. You can just never trust that weather app!!

Thank you Henry @eventfuledits for these BTS videos of me!!
