We've decided to hop on the bandwagon of black and white band statements. Please read.

All jokes aside, we've been getting some questions and requests that require answering. We won't be playing shows because of mental health issues. We'll be back whenever we feel like it.

Life is hard, but bricks are harder.

We played @bredabarst exactly one week ago. Thanks a lot to the festival crew and everyone that made this show a truly special one. One can only dream of having such an amazing crowd, hopefully until next year Breda.

Also a big shout out to our brothers and sisters in @terzijdehorde and @ontaardband for being the best, absolute legend and good friend @sjoerdalbers for stepping in last-minute, @jesper_tje and @rdb_rdb_rdb who made as look and sound so good and of course @lisannelentink for making the cool pictures you see on your screen right now.

📸 THROWING BRICKS | BREDA BARST - 05/09 🔨🔊

It's Bandcamp Friday again! Name a better thing to do today than buy some new drip to survive the scorching hot weather this summer. Our dear friend Hans is already rocking the 'We're Watching Our Rome Burn' tee for this reason.

The line is taken from 'A Selfish Symphony'. Our reasoning to put it on a shirt is the following:

"You may also have noticed that we're all living in hell and the ones in charge don't seem to care about anyone. 'We're watching our Rome burn' isn't a shrug, it is a reminder. A slap on the wrist. There is no room for apathy."

Get one of these crisp white t-shirts now through the link in bio. You'll instantly feel hot while cooling down too. by @throwingbricksband

You may know we're closely involved in organizing @duistercollectief, a festival showcasing our thriving underground. Last year was amazing and we are really proud that there is a second edition. Shout out to @dbs_utrecht Jeroen, @kfhein and @cultuurfondsutrecht for making this whole thing possible.

What once started as an appgroup of Dutch underground bands, evolved into this 2-day festival. Insane.

Really happy with this line-up. Incredibly stoked to see @30000monkies @el.invunche @vullemoane @anglesmorts010 @morvigor @alkerdeel @bloedband @greyaura3 and @omariskandr tear up the stage

Goes without saying that we're really siked to see our friends in @doodseskader @terzijdehorde @bombstraprotterdam @Modder_sludge @mathlovsky @Ineptitude_music @svjetlostdoom @Swerveband @nistamusic @onhouband @ruona.neida
again. All amazing bands and amazing people.

Pro tip: Get yourself some talented friends and suddenly life gets bearable.
