Sometimes you outgrow the name before you realize how much you’ve grown🥹

Cooking brought so many of you here but life gave me so much more to share.

New name, new era… still very much me🤎

Bienvenidos a thruleslyslenz✨ by @thruleslyslenz

A little more life, a little less recipes… and maybe a little chisme along the way🤭

I’ve been wanting to share more of the woman behind Your Tía Favorita and what better way than bringing you into a little piece of our everyday life.

Welcome to a new series, Living With My In-Laws🏡

Any other girlies living with their suegros? 👀🤎

#ad Pozole Verde de Pollo con Aguacate

Hay comidas que simplemente saben a familia and pozole will always be one of them.

I partnered with @aguacatesloveonetoday to put a little twist on a dish we already know and love by blending fresh avocado directly into my salsa verde.

Fresh avocados are a heart-healthy fruit. They provide naturally good fats and are also a good source of fiber.

I love that incorporating avocado doesn’t have to mean changing the foods we grew up eating, it can naturally become part of them.

A six-month study of 969 American adults with elevated waist circumference investigated how eating one avocado per day affects cardiovascular health using blood and survey data to complete a modified American Heart Association’s Life’s Essential 8 (LE8) score. While the composite LE8 score did not change avocado consumption improved diet quality and sleep health and reduced LDL-C and total cholesterol levels compared to adults who maintained their normal diet. The Avocado Nutrition Center funded the research. The findings are limited and cannot be applied to all audiences but they support the growing body of evidence demonstrating that avocados are a heart-healthy fruit.

🌶️ Mexican Sazón School — Lesson #5: Know Your Chiles

Not all dried chiles are just there to make your food spicy 👀 Each one brings something different to the table:

🌶️ Ancho — mild, rich & slightly sweet
🌶️ Guajillo — mild, fruity & beautiful color
🌶️ Puya — fruity with a stronger kick 🔥
🌶️ Chile de árbol — chiquito pero peligroso 😂🔥

Learning why we use certain ingredients is what helps you cook with confidence instead of just following a recipe. 🤎 by @thruleslyslenz
