Has it really been 10 years? 🥹

From banking to taking this leap into @manulifefa, this decision has changed my life in ways i never expected. Back then, i was scared and wondered if everything would work out but looking back now, i understand that everything happens for a reason. Having my parents by my side means a lot to me because they were there when i first started out as a consultant. Along the way, i stepped into leadership and it taught me more than sales ever could. There were many struggles, doubts and lessons but those seasons shaped me into the leader i am today.

Being able to celebrate these wins with the team @archeladvisory brings me so much joy because i know how much effort, sacrifice and unseen work goes into every milestone. 台上一分钟，台下十年功。The best part of this journey has been watching your growth and breakthroughs over the years. I’m blessed and grateful to be part of this with every single one of you and so proud of how far we’ve come together. From individual wins to team wins, success feels most meaningful when it’s shared. All of you are truly Champions Extraordinaire in my heart.

Thank you to everyone who believed in me, supported me and gave me opportunities to grow through the years. Here’s to another decade of building @archeladvisory 🤍

10 years seems like a long time but somehow it also feels very short 💭

Being back here at Shangrila with my parents after a decade feels like a full circle moment. Digging out old photos of us brought a bittersweet kind of happiness as i wondered how many more decades i’ll have with them. Sometimes you don’t realise how quickly time passes when you’re busy chasing goals and building a career, while the people you love are growing older too.

Every version of me over the years was simply doing the best i could in that season of my life. Moving from sales into leadership also changed my perspective on success in many ways. Back then, success was about proving that i could make it and chasing the next milestone felt like everything. Now, success also feels like shared wins, watching the people around you grow, and becoming a better leader and person.

Grateful for everyone who’s been part of this journey @archeladvisory 🫶🏼

Blessed 💫

On 4 june 2016, i started my journey as a financial services consultant. I still remember how excited and hopeful i felt, wondering where this leap from banking would take me. 10 years later, here i am, receiving my executive vice president promotion at @manulifefa. This journey led me to build @archeladvisory and gave me so much more than i could have imagined.

Behind this certificate are years of chasing dreams, challenges, mistakes and lessons that i wouldn’t trade for anything. I’m thankful for the people i’ve crossed paths with, the ones who supported, guided and challenged me. In the next decade, i hope to create more opportunities for people to grow, believe in their own potential and celebrate many more milestones together. 🤍 by @thsweetsteps

Our 7th Race 5 Cases celebratory luncheon together 💫

When @manulifefa first introduced Race 4 Cases in 2023, it was to issue 4 cases in 4 out of 6 months. This year, the bar was raised to 5 cases in 5 out of 6 months. What i’ve always liked about this recognition is what it represents: consistency. In sales, so much comes back to activity. The more conversations you have, the more opportunities you create to practice, learn and improve.

I’ve seen that consistency in this group, with many of the same faces qualifying over the years. I’m happy to see their efforts recognised and to be there celebrating alongside them. Our branch was also recognised among the Top 10% of branches for Race 5 Cases in H1 2026. Grateful for Selina too, for the way she leads her team and for the partnership we’ve built in growing the business.

One of my favourite quarterly traditions with @archeladvisory ✨

Celebrating our top producers and documenting these moments together so that we’ll have something to look back on one day. Amidst the chase of numbers and targets, i Iove having some time out of work to bring everyone together, enjoy a good meal somewhere special and just talk about anything and everything. After all, it’s really the people and experiences that we get to carry with us through life. And i hope when i’m old and grey, some of these days will still sit in little pockets of my heart.

14 years in the industry and having started as a consultant myself, i know the journey in sales is never an easy one. To deliver consistently month after month, year after year, takes a lot of inner strength, resilience and drive to keep going. And that’s what i admire about them. Beyond the results, it’s the heart they have for what they do, the care they have for their clients and the way they support and celebrate the people around them. Watching them do that inspires me to be better too.

Singapore Management Awards 2026 🏆

A special night celebrating and recognising leaders across our industry. Very grateful to receive my first Platinum Group Director Award. The team’s hard work and consistency are a big part of why i get to stand on that stage. A lot of what i get recognised for as a leader is really a reflection of what they do every day.

We often see the glam and the wins but they’re just a small part of the journey. It’s the sum of all the ordinary days, the daily grind, rejections, challenges and work no one sees but we keep going anyway. I guess i’ve learnt to appreciate these moments a little more when they come, to be fully present and just take it all in.

I hope i can keep creating an environment where people can do good work and be proud of what they do. Thank you @fsma.sg @manulife.singapore @manulifefa for the recognition and to everyone at @archeladvisory for being part of what we’re building 🩵
