Hey there, it’s Keana here! 👋
I also respond to Kenny, KW or mom.
I’m a former keeper of books and skate shop rat turned stay at home mom! If you stumbled on this art page, we’d probably be friends in real life.

In 2020, I picked up embroidery as a way to to gain some control in a time that felt very out of my control. Slow stitching became my brain's sanctuary, and little did I know, I'd fall head over heels for it.

Fast forward three years, and while I feel more in control, I still find solace in night-time stitching. As soon as my kid is asleep I’m stitching away while immersed in a TV binge. I've realized there's a treasure trove of shows I missed in my youth…

🛸 Roswell is my absolute favorite (watched this in ‘99)
☀️ I didn’t watch The OC until 2023
🍂 It's a fall tradition to rewatch Gilmore Girls

Join me on this creative journey, peek into my art, and catch up on what I'm currently binging.

What's your go-to show, preferably from the '90s or early '00s? 📺
Odds are, I haven't seen it, and it might just become my next stitching companion. taken in Portland, Oregon by @thumbsup_threading

What happens when cute, nostalgic cartoons meet a bold statement? 👀 HI IT’S ME 👋🏼✨

Hi I’m KW and stitching up nostalgia with a twist has become an obsession! 🧵 If I’ve popped up on your FYP, it’s a sign to follow along—big things (and maybe a giveaway 👀) are coming soon!

Dropped off my and @thepaintedwallco VHS to Dead Media Video Rentals 📺

In my wildest dreams I would have had enough time to fully embroider Gonzo and squeeze it into a vhs case. Nonetheless so fun to bring my favorite ice breaker question alive:
If you could recast a move with muppets and only one human actor, what movie would you remake and who stays human?

Go check out this haunted house!!

I’m thinking this may be my next pattern, but I’m kind of hating the flower? What do you think? 🤔

I’ve finished a lot of embroidery lately but I haven’t had the motivation to put the backs on 👀 but this little cutie is probably my recent favorite 💖

Fangirling Keanu since the moment my mom named me Keana. 💖😭🤘🏼 @dogstarband
Didn’t get my Shane Falco card signed but I’ll carry it around with me for the rest of my life, just in case.
