POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Another great weekend at the ranch.

Many of these sweet souls aren’t ready for adoption yet. The rescue I currently help with takes in cruelty cases and owner surrenders, and many of these horses come with unknown histories or heartbreaking pasts.

Healing takes time. Learning to trust again takes time. Some of them are still figuring out that not all humans will hurt them.

While the ranch chores are important, my favorite part will always be spending time with these incredible animals, earning their trust, and being part of their journey as they work through their uncertainties. Every small step forward is a reminder of just how resilient they are. 🐴

Behind every rescue horse is a story of neglect, fear, survival, and second chances. 🤍

And somewhere between the quiet moments, the patience, and the trust being rebuilt… they start becoming who they were always meant to be. Grateful to be a small part of their healing story. 🐴✨

traded barn chores at the rescue ranch for a trail ride with the team since it was under a 100 degrees 🫠..

Safe to say I’ll never live somewhere it gets this hot for THIS long again, although I do love my Texas community 🫶🏻
