Better late than never - this is my second longest episode ever - joined by a most humble and awesome guest, with one of the best ever moustaches ever - Mr @dave_traina , drummer of Canadian blues rockers - @thedamntruth ๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ฆ๐Ÿค˜ Join us over on my YouTube channel, for over 2 hours of great conversation - we talk about the 15 year history of the band, humble beginnings as a drummer, #bobrock, 26" kick drums, being given an ultimatum on the strike of midnight at a new year's eve gig + we talk about his cool recording studio - @freqshop ๐ŸŽ™๏ธ๐ŸŽ›๏ธ I loved every minute of this interview, and think I learnt some further valuable insights and lessons and why being in a band is all about family, sacrifices but also compromisesโœŒ๏ธโค๏ธ๐Ÿ™ #drums #rocknroll #quebec #musicinterview Link to @youtube video below ๐ŸŽฅ๐Ÿ‘‡ https://youtu.be/nONovrcmbg4?si=20t_M6jbi0llguAO @noble_pr @leelabaum @the_tom_redd @py_letellier @philipchebbour @planetrockradio by @thundersmithdrums

I'm so stoked to announce that my next guest on Thundersmiths Drumspiration, is none other, than my fellow drumming brother, @dave_traina of awesome Canadian blues rockers, @thedamntruth ๐Ÿฅ๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ฆ๐Ÿค˜ Over the years, they have taken the UK rock scene by storm - delivering their infectious brand of moody 70s Fleetwood Mac flavoured blues rock at major festivals such as @steelhousefest , @stonedead_fest, @maidofstonefestival Festival and @planetrockradio Winters End & Rockstock ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡ง Here's a sneak peak ahead of tomorrow's full episode, discussing the benefits of looking good and why we should listen to our partners on that front ๐Ÿช’๐Ÿ’ˆ Full episode will be up tomorrow evening on my @youtube channel below ๐Ÿ‘‡๐ŸŽฅ https://youtube.com/@thundersmithsdrumspiration3396 #thedamntruthband #canadianband #rockmusic #drummers #rocknroll by @thundersmithdrums

Sometimes the best thing on a Saturday night is a cold beer and a bubble bath ๐Ÿบ๐Ÿง– I first discovered @mash__gang when I played the Brook with my last band - and you know me - I favour flavour - and as I was driving - this alcohol free gem - Journey Juice - hit the spot. Tropical mango and lime flavours, with a hint of chilli ๐Ÿ‹โ€๐ŸŸฉ๐Ÿฅญ๐ŸŒถ๏ธ Cheers everyone ๐Ÿป #bubblebath #mashgang #mashgangbrewing #saturdaynight #alcoholfreebeer by @thundersmithdrums

Good evening music fans - following my announcement yesterday - I thought I'd add a few things for some further context: ๐ŸฅWhat I'm looking for: I am 100% open to discussing dep/session work - whether that be in originals or tribute acts - so if you require a drummer for local or national/international work for the 2027 season - let me know. My style/abilities and tastes range from Americana to Prog to Indie to Rock and everything in between - think Rival Sons, Nothing but Thieves, Nine Inch Nails, Manic Street Preachers, Brothers Osborne, Pulled Apart by Horses, Elbow, Porcupine Tree, and Queens of the Stone Age. ๐Ÿ“Location: I am based on Hayling Island on the South Coast (for those that are unfamiliar of where that is - some are - I'm across the water from Portsmouth๐Ÿ™‚) - so in terms or rehearsals and gigs, I can travel. ๐ŸŽš๏ธSet-Up I have a home studio set-up with an electric kit - so can practice, learn songs and if need be record. I have a Q Drum Co custom and a vintage 1973 Sonor acoustic kit - and am in the process of exploring a simple but pro level recording set up for them. If you have any questions or want to know more, you can reach me on here or Instagram or via e-mail ๐Ÿ“จ thundersmithdrums@outlook.com #drummer #ukbased #collab #drummerforhire #newband by @thundersmithdrums

After a swim in the lush deep blue waters of Saint George's bay off the east coast of Symi (Beatrice, all life jacketed up, was very brave coming in with me briefly a few times) - we headed back on the boat to the mainland - greeted by beautiful neoclassicism architecture, towering monasteries and crystal clear harbour waters for our next adventure. And a stray female ginger cat we named 'Gingee Snap' chose us during a well deserved sit down. ๐Ÿง‘โ€๐Ÿง‘โ€๐Ÿง’โ€๐Ÿง’๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡ท๐Ÿ›ฅ๏ธโš“๐Ÿ–๏ธ๐Ÿ›ฅ๏ธโ˜€๏ธ๐Ÿ ๐Ÿคฟ #familyadventures #symi #greekislands #cruiselife #SummerVibes taken in Sรฝmi, Dhodhekanisos, Greece by @thundersmithdrums
