Today, August 24th of 2024 around 9pm we lost this legend. My Grandpa Joe. We called him Joey.
This is one of the hardest things ive ever typed. I am heartbroken over the loss of my grandpa Joe, who was an extraordinary presence in my life. His love, guidance, and strength shaped who l am today, and his stories and wisdom enriched every moment we spent together. Grandpa Joe had a remarkable way of making each of us feel valued and understood. His warmth and generosity were a constant source of comfort and inspiration, and his absence leaves a hole in my heart. Ive never seen someone tell so many stories. He would often tell the same ones, but each time they would be new.
His laugh was cherished. He has the sweetest smile. I remember how he would always have the funniest jokes but somehow able to keep a straight face. He loved board games. We would always play games and even monopoly. It would go on for Hours and somehow he would always win. His main hobbies was sudoku. EVERY SINGLE MORNING HE WOULD DO IT. He was the smartest person ive ever met. Grandpa Joe and Lynns love tworads me is something I will always value. His relationship with lynn was adorable. They were meant for eachother. Seeing him love and care for eachother healed me. Me and my brother will forever cherish the memories we shared and the lessons he imparted, keeping his spirit alive in my heart. I love you forever Grandpa Joe. Rest easy angel. 💕🕊️🕊️💕💔❤️ by @thusker2007
