Interior Greenbelt hike entrance.

Was a challenge cuz i accidentally tripped over my tripod and water got everywhere. sun kept going in and out half way thru the painting. It was super nice to touch grass regardless!! Also being in my fave part of sf too

An attempt to study @lindenpaints 's painting. Please check out his original much much much better painting 😭

My brain melted dealing with texture galore and subtle temp shifts . I shall come back for self torture, i.e. more studies on this topic

Coit tower pleinair after two day workshop with @franklinlei @sketchboard.co . It was super fun to meet lots of folks in person and do this together!

Speed definitely improved and I felt slightly less miserable pleinair despite the super windy condition.

Pleinair done a couple of weeks ago that i didn't love. I came back to do some final touch ups to see if I could save it. Unfortunately, it all started with the lack of thumbnailing 😭

Dipping my toes into gouache portraits again. Master study of a painting found on Pinterest (and couldn't find the artist through google reverse image search :( )

I thought it would only take 30-45 min, but ended up taking twice the amount of that. Portrait and mixing are scary...
