POSTS STORIES REELS

👉 If you’re new here, this isn’t chapter one.
It’s somewhere in the middle of a long, ongoing story.

The story is scattered—
across landscapes and songs,
told through the people we’ve been
and the ones we’re still becoming.

And yes, we’re still on the road.
We’re still going places.
The next song is still out there.

Not a destination. Not a debut.
Just the next note in a long, unfolding history…

What chapter are you on? Drop a comment, let’s get to know each other ⬇️

Nashville’s Broadway. You have to experience it. But you might need a survival guide. 🤠

Neon lights, live music pouring out of every doorway, rooftop bars, cowboy boots, and a whole lot of people.

We’ve been coming to Nashville for almost 15 years, and trust us, there’s a right way (and a very wrong way) to tackle Broadway.

So we put together our FREE How to Survive Broadway Guide with our favorite tips, tricks, and a little insider knowledge to help you make the most of Music City’s wildest street.

Because we love Nashville. And we want you to love it too.

🎸 Comment BROADWAY and we’ll send you the guide!

Funny how a photoshoot can take you back 20 years.

shooting our new album cover in Stockholm’s Old Town today with a 7-week-old baby and two very young photo assistants.

And suddenly we were remembering all those years of bringing our own kids along for the ride.

Esther was just a week old when she slept in Karin’s guitar case backstage. Limon would fall asleep on a flight case while the world carried on around him.

Endless flights, taxis, border crossings, soundchecks, late nights and early mornings.

Raising a family while making music and somehow trying to make it all work.

It wasn’t always easy, and looking back, we sometimes wonder how on earth we managed it all.

But those years gave us some of our most precious memories.

And there we were, all these years later, still making music together, being reminded of all the moments that made us!

And yes, the day ended with a cow-crossing… so there you have it. LIFE

Stay warm people! Hug each other and get one of our cozy beanies!
Maybe one for you and one for your friend?

After 30 years together, I still love watching Göran get completely lost in the music. ❤️

And I know that look. He’s somewhere in his own little world, figuring out exactly what he wants that guitar to say.

Here’s a little moment from the studio, tracking the solo for “No By Tennessee” from our upcoming album.

Some things never change. And I’m glad they don’t. 🎸

6:15 AM.
Bare feet. Pedal steel.
And a song that needed just a little more magic. 🎶

Göran adding some early morning pedal steel to No By Tennessee, a song on our upcoming album.

Sometimes the best musical moments happen before you’ve even put your shoes on.

More new music is on its way! 🤠

Not looking very Blue, are we? 😏

This is what Blue looked like before it became a song you could stream.

Chris Roberts, Emily Volman and Mark Evitts singing with us.
And… Mark making that fiddle do what only Mark can do.

Göran recording and a whole lot of laughing in between.

Sometimes the saddest-sounding titles come from the happiest days in the studio.

Some days nothing is really wrong.

You’re just a little quieter.
A little heavier.
A little… blue.

We wanted to write a song for that feeling.

Not heartbreak.
Not devastation.
Just one of those days when the world feels a shade different.

And maybe you don’t need to fix it. Maybe it’s okay to feel it for a while.

That’s Blue. 💙

If you know the feeling,
this one’s for you.

It’s hard to get noticed.

There are so many fantastic artists out there, and so many great songs being released every single day. So when someone does stop and listen and then writes about our music in such a beautiful way we feel extra proud.

“Thyra & Magnolia Road bring Swedish roots and Nashville influence together beautifully on ‘Blue’…”

That line means a lot to us.

Ever since our ”Nashville Songs & Stories album”, we’ve felt ourselves landing more and more in our own expression somewhere between where we come from and where music has taken us.

Our Swedish and Scandinavian roots.
Years of writing and making music in Nashville. Co writers that challenge you to become a better writer and dig deeper. Finding those very special connections that turn in to lifelong friendships.

Having a band with friends you grew up with.

Americana. Country. Nordic melodies and melancholy.

We call it Swedicana.

And maybe Blue is one of the songs that captures that meeting place best.

Thank you KORLI for listening, really listening and for seeing what we’re trying to create. 💙

The final miles

Memphis mornings → Arkansas backroads → Batesville and one last radio stop at KWOZ-FM, talking music and BLUE.

And then we pointed the car east again.

After days of radio stations, state lines, hotel rooms, good food, questionable amounts of coffee and miles & miles of highway, there was really only one place this road trip should end…

Back in Nashville at The Station Inn. 🎶

From Stockholm to Tennessee…
5 states. 4 radio stations. Almost 3,000 kilometers. One new single.
What a ride. 💙

THYRA & Magnolia Road — BLUE
Out everywhere now.

25 years married.

A life, a family, a whole lot of music, thousands of miles and more adventures than we ever could have imagined when we said I do.

And somehow, 25 feels extra special

Because on September 25, we release our new song BLUE.

25 years. September 25.
25 for 25. 💙

And yes… releasing on 9-2-5 feels pretty perfect for a couple of Americana / country music people. Dolly would understand. 😉

Still writing songs.
Still chasing dreams.
Still choosing each other.

Happy 25th anniversary to us.
