Big career moment to share 💻➡️❤️

We just submitted a pipeline I built to the American Heart Association. It uses GPT to extract echo parameters directly from echo images, helping streamline cardiac data workflows. Seeing code I wrote contribute to real clinical research feels surreal.

And the journey keeps going. I’ve now been onboarded to our next project: “Heartwise.” Still learning what it entails, but I’m excited to dive in.

Grateful to my manager and team for trusting me with these challenges. Documenting this as I go because promotion or not, this growth phase has been everything.

Delegating the ‘Boring Stuff’ to #ampcode - the autonomous coding agent that uses models like Anthropic’s Claude 3.7 and Sonnet 4.5. 🧠➡️🤖

I’m building the same task twice to see who does it better: GitHub Copilot (the ultimate assistant) vs. Amp Code (the autonomous agent). One helps me code, the other codes for me.

The Goal: I’m measuring the “cognitive offloading” by seeing how many manual decisions I had to make using Amp vs. doing it the traditional way.

The Result: Less burnout, more shipping.

The Last Watch is my second book by this author. Got it a little after Christmas and it’s halfway done. Futuristic space combat sci-fi is the only topic I can stay focused on.
